1. Is it safe to order with my credit card?
Yes. To safeguard your credit card information, IndependentBands.com utilizes a Secure Server. We use the industry standard encryption protocol known as 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL), to keep your order information secure so that it cannot be read in transit by a third party.

However, we also offer PayPal, Money Order, or Check payments if you do not want to order with a credit card.

2. Which credit cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept Paypal, Checks or Money Orders. See below for more details.

3. What about backorders?
We don't like backorders either, so we only sell what we have in stock. If we don't have it in stock then we won't put it in your shopping cart, but instead will tell you that we don't currently have it. If you want, you may put your email address on a notification list. When we get that CD back in stock we will immediately notify you by email and you can purchase it then.

4. I don't have a credit card. Is there any other way to pay for my order?
We also accept PayPal, checks or money orders. You will have the option upon checkout to select which payment method you would like to use.

If you choose to pay with PayPal, your order will be shipped once we receive your payment from PayPal.

If you choose to pay with a Money Order, your order will be shipped immediately after we receive payment.

If you choose to pay with a Check, your order will be shipped 14 days after we receive payment to allow time for the check to clear.

If paying by PayPal, Check or Money Order, please note that we do not set aside and hold the CDs that you ordered. (The reason for this is that some customers will order, and then not send in their check or money order). When we receive your payment, if the item(s) you requested have sold out during the time it took for your payment to reach us, we will delay shipping your order until all the items that you ordered are back in stock.

5. How long will it take to get my CD?

6. Can I ship the CD as a gift to someone else?
Yes, and when you checkout, we will ask if this is a gift. If you say it is, we will NOT include the receipt in the order shipped. We also allow you to put a personal message in with the gift.

8. What is your Return Policy?
We do accept returned products for the following reasons:

We shipped the wrong product (You are responsible if you ordered the wrong product)
OR the product (not the case) was damaged during shipping - We do our best to package the product so that you receive it in good condition, but occasionally it gets run over by a truck.
OR the product has manufacturing defects (the same product will be shipped to you).
AND it has not been more than 14 days since you received the product.

We cannot accept returned products for the following reasons:

You no longer want the product for whatever reason.
Or you ordered the wrong product.

9. I am a Christian artist with a music CD, how do I go about selling my CD on this site?

10. What software do I need to listen to the songs on this site?
The song samples are in the realaudio format. A free realaudio player can be downloaded from RealNetworks. We are not affiliated with RealNetworks.

11. I have a webpage and would like to link to IndependentBands.com. Do you have any graphics I can use?
We would love for you to link to our site on your webpage. You can use any of the graphics here.

12. Are these used CDs?
No, we do not sell any used CDs. We only sell CDs and DVDs that have never been opened. All in their original shrinkwrap.

13. I haven't received an order confirmation or e-mail from IndependentBands.com. What could be the problem?
Either you entered an invalid e-mail address upon checkout or you are inadvertantly blocking our e-mail. Please check to make sure that your e-mail client or spam filter is not blocking our e-mails and contact us to resend another order confirmation. Please note that if your e-mail software is blocking our e-mails and you e-mail us a question about your order, there is no way we can reply back. This will lead to you getting blue in the face.

14. Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes. We offer E-Mail Gift Certificates. These allow you to purchase a gift certificate in a certain amount, and then we e-mail it to the person of your choice. The person then has the ability to enter in their gift certificate code upon checkout to redeem it. This is a very simple way to purchase CDs for people if you are unsure what they specifically want. 15. I'm an independent artist and I have my own album. How do I get my music into iTunes?
We offer a digital distribition service to help you get your music into iTunes. We charge a one time setup fee of $35 per album, and we pay you 91% of the proceeds after that. You can submit your album for digital distribition here.
