"Hey all you acoustic guitar lovers, and well, I guess more specifically, guitar lovers that happen to like my music. This DVD was made especially for people out there that are like me: people who wanted to learn how to play songs by watching a video instead of reading tabs because it takes them forever.. like me!! Growing up, I bought many concert videos and hoped that the shots would stay long enough on the artists' hands so that i can watch and learn, but my plans were foiled and I had to wait until someone else figured it out. Then alternate tunings became popular, and I was lost. Inaccurate tabs get thrown out all the time by well meaning fans, and before you know it, you're playing the "not as cool" version of the song that sounds kind of differernt from the original song, but somehow you just can't put your finger on what it is!

Well, for a while now, people have been requesting that I create tabs or have chords available for my songs, but truthfully, I don't know how to write tabs, nor do I know the names of some of these funky chords I'm playing half the times. So, I teamed up with my brilliant multi-media friend, Moses Lee, and created something of a "reality show" guitar instructional video with split screen on both hands and the works!

This DVD has a little bit of something for everyone. For INTERMEDIATE players, you can simply watch the lessons and watch me explain how to play the songs and go through them. Press pause when you want to look at one of the chords more carefully! Easy as that! For BEGINNERS, I have a few sections where I go over some tips on playing and teach little helpful tricks I've learned along the way. For those who just want to be ENTERTAINED, we have lots of footage going around the BFG apt, where I introduce some of the BFG folks. There's also a special living room performance of my new song "Chase Me Away" with Jinny Kim.

It's a fun video, with random moments you can't quite pre- meditate. A bunch of friends and I watched it together and cracked up over and over again at some of the silly things that happened. So, all you guitarists out there who have requested tabs, consider this as an alternative? :-)"
