Don and Lori rock!! Their songs are truthful and straight to the heart. They don't beat around the bush. God is speaking through their lyrics...check it out.

WaterDeep is one of the greatest bands to date. I have been a fan of theirs for 4 years now and I truly think they are just AWESOME. If you havent heard them before I would start with their live album. I plan on getting new album.

how can enough be said about don and lori and waterdeep as a whole. their concerts are actually "church" services disguised as concerts--all worship and teaching/preaching, don't let don's soliloquys fool you. seriously, waterdeep's music is anointed for salvation and healing and setting free.
Review by Nathan Kaminsky for Waterdeep 1999-11-05
Waterdeep is my favorite band in the whole world. Very few people have ever so accurately captured the essence of life and afterlife as they do. Sink or Swim is my favorite album because of the deep lyrics and powerful Imagery. They are awesome in concert, and Live at the New Earth captures much of their presence in song. To Chase Away the Birds has two sides: the first half with some heavy hitting rock and the latter half mostly folk songs with a quieter theme. Old Stuff is a great album which gives insight to the roots of the band and their attitude. Finally, another roots album, Don Chaffer's solo album You Were at the Time for Love which might not stand out at first sight has some of the most powerful songs I have ever heard. Anyone who enjoys Christ-centered music and lyrics will enjoy Waterdeep.
