With an aggressive electric sound, Undignified has laid a great musical and lyrical foundation for the listener to enjoy. If someone is looking for a heavily produced pop CD that you can dance to you may want to pass on this project. But, if you are looking for intelligent, artful and impacting songs then you really need to listen to this recording. I would also recommend listening to it all the way through while reading the lyrics so you don't miss some of the great concepts that songwriter Bill Jones brings to the table. Undignified is a band with a mission. The band, under the name, Undignified, started in the spring of 2001 and has been leading worship for FOCUS, a local college ministry in Austin, Texas, since its inception. The band's founder, Bill Jones, has been involved in writing and making music for 7 years. The members and the name of the band have changed over the years, but the mission remains the same, to make great music that changes the world to the glory of God. It may sound like a pretty lofty goal, but Undignified desires to bring forth music that inspires a passion and zeal for Jesus Christ.
