Review by Melissa for Tyler Dodds : Waiting For Warmth 2006-12-05
This CD is so great. I love all of the songs, and I especially love hearing Bailey's beautiful background vocals. "To Know You" is just my life's cry and "Morning" gives me chills- it's so beautiful, a really beautiful picture of love. The music itself is wonderful, too, especially the great guitar stuff on "Wait On You." Tyler is a great worship leader and we all miss you at Stonegate! I'll never forget the first time I heard his testimony one Sunday, then he got up and sang "I Need You" and I can just remember being inspired by his humbleness... he's a great guy and musician! By far one of my favorite CDs!

This cd rocks. And rolls. Mix together Switchfoot with some U2 and little John Mayer, and you've got Tyler Dodds. His voice is beautiful, yet can be quite haunting as he deals musically with issues we all face everyday. The musicianship on this album is far superior to that of the stuff you hear on the radio these days. A few of my favorite tracks include "Oh I See", "To Know You", "Still Believe" and "Face The Music." Of course, the classic hymns "Blessed Assurance" and "It Is Well" are always a delight. This album is perfet for all: the musician, the true music lover, and those who just want something to listen to...A+
