Released October 26, 2004. Elvis Presley was the king of rock and roll, but music celebrating the King of Kings was most dear to him. Gospel music was a huge influence on Elvis in his formative years, and he always had a Gospel quartet around him. Two of his favorite quartets have gathered to record the Gospel songs Elvis loved most. The Imperials (Terry Blackwood, Sherman Andrus, Jim Murray and Armond Morales) began recording with Elvis in the late 60's and were a part of his famous Las Vegas shows. The Stamps Quartet began touring with Elvis in 1972 and were an integral part of his shows until his death in 1977. The groups continue to perform around the world in Elvis tribute concerts in addition to maintaining their demanding Gospel concert schedules.
