Reviews for Susan Ashton
Review by Paul D for Susan Ashton 2005-01-26
I was given "So Far..The Best Of Susan Ashton" several years ago and fell in love with Susan's voice and music. I ended up buying all her CDs, followed by "A Distant Call" ("You Move Me" is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard), and "Closer". I constantly check new and forthcoming releases everywhere in hopes of a new release by Susan - forever disappointed that it's been such a long time.

Review by david middleton for Susan Ashton : So Far. . .The Best Of Susan Ashton 2005-01-05
Ashton has a voice with range, power, emotion and a whispering softness that can move hearts. She sounds as if she feels every word she sings and has that undefined ability to impart that to the listener. I was given my first Ashton CD by my friend Mary, who is a sweet, gentle spirit of God like we all should be. Needless to say, when I hear Ashton's You Move Me, my eyes mist over. Shania Twain, Britney Spears and all the other pop icons of our times voices pale in comparison. And Ashton sings about God and felings, not popular, material world subjects. Susan Ashton is a treasure. I would love to see her and Fernando Ortega in one concert; and I dislike the concert atmosphere. Why doesn't America embrace God and Jesus music? We claim to be a Christian nation, yet what is on the radio? Sadness.

Review by Dianna for Susan Ashton : A Distant Call 2004-10-12
Susan Ashton's music is greatly missed. I think America would love to hear more of her music from the past and anything new. She is much better than most Christian and Country singers that are out there now. That's because she lives, breaths, and feels her music. She is very real with who she is and lives life through the eyes of Christ! We miss you Susie! Come back and Sing again~Dianna H.
