Review by Djustin for Starfield : Beauty In The Broken 2006-07-09
Well, finally a new Starfield CD. With high expectations from this huge fan of Starfield, I don't think you will be disappointed if you give it a chance to grow on you. That is what it took for me, several times through it. This music will grow on you. More upbeat and rockin than the first classic Starfield, but a great followup CD. These guys are downright awesome!

Starfield is what I have found to be as close to a perfect band as it gets. They are so connected with God and their lyrics bring the listener closer to the Creator and the music only emphasizes it more. Time listening to Starfield is a beautiful thing... and they make you rock in concert!!!

I just got back from a week-long festival where Starfield played twice..these guys are amazing. Their stage presence is so full of joy and praises for God, that is what first drew me in - I have never seen anyone as happy about God as these guys. I hardly listen to anything else anymore. The words and music are fresh and meaningful... Not only are the songs hits, they're heartfelt.

This is one of the strongest debut's since Jars of Clay's self titled debut in 1995. Its brimming with fresh songs, contagious melodies and tight harmonies. Passionate modern rock with a heart for worship.

I am not usually one to take the time to gush... especially on a band i hardly know anything about but this is a great cd... one of the freshest i've heard in years...
