Taking its name from a road in rural Texas, five-piece modern
rock band SPUR58 writes music that speaks to its desire
to see people worship God intimately, using transparent stories
of real life. Frontman Aaron Ivey, guitarists Jimmie Ingram and
Chad Martin, Steven Bush on bass and drummer Guy Roberts base
themselves in Murfreesboro, Tenn., just southeast of Nashville…
not for its close proximity to the music scene but for the young
adults they lead in worship at their home church.
Sleepwalkers,
SPUR58’s debut album for Indelible Creative Group is the
follow up to several successful independent releases the band
has put out during incessant touring, and features their rich
blend of piano-based modern rock.
Review by Bryan McDevitt for Spur58 : Sleepwalkers2006-10-11
This cd is my favorite yet by Spur58. It truly reflects the passion and the heart of this worship band. I know these guys personally and you will not find many bands that will walk out in their life the lyrics they sing on stage. They are true lead worshipers. I highly recomend this cd for its amazing creativity, reflective God focused lyrics, and the integrity of this band. Great job guys. May God get all the glory.
