Review by Chris Lim for Sixpence None The Richer : Collage: A Portrait Of Their Best 2004-05-20
A fine collection of the band's songs culled from their first two albums, THE FATHERLESS AND THE WIDOW (3 tracks) and THIS BEAUTIFUL MESS (6 tracks) respectively + their EP Tickets To A Prayer Wheel (4 tracks); which could serve as a good sampler of 6PENCE's early music - containing a total of 15 tracks. Reissued in 2003. It's quite apparent to see that with this compilation, the band have only been lucky to've scored the big break they are given coming out from an indie label. Notwithstanding. Just palatable somehow.

an amazing, beautiful album to fall in love with. lyrically it blows you away, and musically it never fails to deliver. 'Dizzy' sends you to another world, and 'a million parachutes' will transport you back to christmas. this album holds a lot of happy memories, and has inspired my own creativity. BUY IT!!

This is one of the very few albums I have listened to where every single song is great. Don't miss this one.

I've always loved Sixpence None the richer but I think "Divine Discontent" is their best album yet! And what kind of crazy person cannot LOVE the way Leigh Nash sings?!?!?!? My favorite song is "Breathe your name" but the WHOLE C.D. is worth it! Check it out!!!

Since I heard for the first time the SNTR songs I felt I love! Leigh Nash has a beautiful, soft voice! She sings as an angel! This last CD is wonderful like the others! I recommend for everybody! Buy it! You'll fall in love too... :) My favorite song from this CD is Dizzy... I like Tension Is a Passing Note too... I've Been Waiting is a sweet song... Well, I've liked all the songs!

I have all of Sixpence's albums and enjoy them all. But when I recieved their new album "Divine Discontent", I was blown away. This one is by far the best album yet. Never before have I heard them sound so graceful and powerful. It is so refreshing to be able to hear such beautiful and spiritual lyrics today. If you can't tell, I highly recommend this cd.

This cd is well worth the wait! I was impressed from the first note to the last. Not only is the music gentle, driving and infectuous all at once, but the lyrics are what really stand out here as the album is more God-focused than their previous release. My favorite is the gorgeous song "Still Burning". And of course, how can you not fall in love with anything that Leigh Nash sings? Highly recommended!!
