I absolutely love this CD. I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner. When you're listening to this CD, it's as if you're having your own private time of worship between you and God.

I love almost every second of this CD! It literally plays non-stop and has not left the CD player since I bought. Except for maybe 2 songs I love the whole thing. I think its by far the best work he has ever put out...

This cd is good, but it is not on par with his last cd. This is not to say that this album is not good and creative, but Simply Nothing was a great cd...this is a good cd.

i love shawn mcdonald and all of his music. one of my most favorite songs by him is gravity and the new song off of the album ripen "i want to be ready". he sings songs you can relate to and his voice is amazing. keep up the good music shawn.

I recieved a preview copy of the cd and it is just as great as his first, if not better. There are a few songs that stand out including Take Hold and Pour Out. There is also a great song/interlude with a spanish flair -- I HIGHLY recommend this cd!

Absolutely one of the best albums of 2005! When i say it's a "must-have," I mean, "IT'S A MUST-HAVE!!!" I practically wore out the CD from playing it so much. Now it is burning it up on my iPod. Whenever, I listen to this CD, people ask who it is. Shawn's passion for knowing Christ is evident throughout this album. I almost feel guilty for eavesdropping on Shawn's private session with God. BUY THIS ALBUM! You won't regret it. I haven't been this excited about a new artist sice I discovered Shane and Shane 5 years ago! This album is AMAZING! So real and intimate. Check it out.

Every word in his songs are real, true, and sincere. You feel like you know Shawn by the end of the cd. In this time where I have felt down in my faith, Shawn's music has been a refuge, and often times lifted me up. His music has strengthened my friendships and causes each and everyone of us to answer the same questions asked in this album. Thanks Shawn.

Seriously, this is the best CD I have! The songs are all about God, and with it being acoustic, it Simply makes it the best to listen to. If you want that Jack Johnson feeling, but the heart of the songs to be about your realtionship with christ... you got to get this CD!

Gravy!!! I liked "Simply Nothing" but this "Live" version is mongohugewaymega better. It has an intimacy to it that the studio version cant quite match. So far I've only heard the first 4 tracks but each one is sweet and has made it worth the cost of the CD. It will be great for sing-along worship on long drives alone. I'll probably even start bawling while singing.

Ever since I heard of the Simply Nothing CD by Shawn McDonald I can't stop playing it. It lifts me up when I am down and gets me right back in a right state of mind, one focused on Christ. This is a must get CD for all ages. It leave me and those caught in it's path full of overflowing joy and peace every time we play it.
