Review by Janessa for Seventh Day Slumber 2006-02-06
This CD and the group is amazing! I'v been to their concert twice, and a lot of their music really reaches to me. Especially Caroline, that one helped me a lot when I was struggling with anorexia, and now me and my friends refer to it as "my song" They really affect people in more ways than anyone can imagine!

Review by Fred S for Seventh Day Slumber : Once Upon A Shattered Life 2005-10-13
I bought the CD when it first came out & play it quite often. "Caroline" & "I belive" both have a powerful message, the whole CD is an overwhelming force that can, if you allow God, minister to your life. Plus it don't hurt nothin' that these guys can rock. Not hard core, but with a suprising style. One song dosn't sound like another, sound like another... Buy it to share with a friend thats worn down by life, or just to remind yourself how much God loves us!!!

I am a bloodbought believer saved from drugs and hopelessness, this cd is spirit driven it covers everything from suicide to a new believers struggle with sinful nature it is the very heartbeat of god in lyrics and music that hit the heart. these guys are quality christians not just a label definitely used by god. bless him forever

Review by Billy for Seventh Day Slumber : Picking Up The Pieces 2003-08-08
There are very few CD's that I have I like every song on it. SDS's Picking up the pieces is quality songwriting through and through. Every song is great. These guys are a great blessing to Christians and non-Christians everywhere.

Review by Emily for Seventh Day Slumber 2003-07-13
I really think these guys are sent straight from God to help heal up broken teen's hearts. They truly are men of God, and I love going to thier concerts. Every concert I have been to they have shared the gospel, and helped people relize that God loves them so much that it is a waste to commit suicide. I will pray for these guys every day and for the lives they are helping to save. (Im glad they came to Sonshine, even though the generator for their bus kept breaking)

Review by Derek Flowers for Seventh Day Slumber : Picking Up The Pieces 2003-06-29
This album is so great. You sure did a great job. My band is saving sunday were just amateaur(however you spell it). But we played 2 of your songs at the Texas Youth Camp. along with Lee university's band behind us(second edition). the song we played are #3 and #7, awesome lyrics. That's what us christians need to be saying "Do you really want to know me or Christ. my band has four people in it there is Chad-rythm guitar/vocals, Me-bass/vocals, T.K.-lead guitar, and Anthony-the drummer. Well toodels.

Review by Ryan for Seventh Day Slumber : Picking Up The Pieces 2003-06-25
Man this album is huge. It has all the ambiguity of a chraging "rhino" (pun intended) and a great rock sound. Jeremy Holderfield is phenomenal on the guitar, and Joseph Rojas sings the lyrics with the passion of a former $400 a day dope addict. It is estimated that 10,000 or more people have come to Christ during or after Seventh Day Slumber shows. Need I say more? Seventh Day Slumber has huge lyrics, and a hard-hitting rock sound. And as Joseph says, "We got a calling, and we're not selling out to anybody."

Review by Sara for Seventh Day Slumber : Picking Up The Pieces 2003-05-28
This CD is really good and has helped my with my walk with God! I encourage believers in Chist to share this with any non-christian or struggling christian friends! I was a struggling christian myself!
