Review by Spencer Barfuss for Seven Day Jesus : Seven Day Jesus 2006-04-20
I must agree with all other reviewers... these guy were awesome. Back in the day in College Station, at ol' Central Baptist Church in Bryan, TX, they played with Between Thieves, and completely rocked the house. There was a small crowd, but their sound was unbelievable. If you are wondering if you should get this CD based on what the reviewers are saying, trust me... you won't be disappointed with this one.

When I first saw these wise guys, I was like they are going to be big. If you get a chance, hear their stuff it's awesome. Hopefully they make some kind of come back. For the sake of rock!

Definitely a bummer when these guys broke up. This CD is absolutely amazing and McSweeney's vocals are amazingly pure. If you like it make sure to find their first(and only other) CD titled "the hunger" and also check out Matthew which is led by Brian McSweeney.

I absolutly love this cd. It's one of my favorites. I play this alot when I'm down. It always lifts me up. I'm just sad this is their only cd.

Ok when this band quit the world lost one of the best bands out there.. there music isnt the huffing and puffing like most bands, the potential they had was unrivaled. This cd is a must to have!
Review by Bob Felberg for Seven Day Jesus : Seven Day Jesus 2005-12-02
Seven Day Jesus is no longer, but their music remains. Good, melodic rocking stuff-clean in production with leaning towards The Elms, The Afters and the like. Power poppin,' Jesus rockin'. Gotta love it.

Ok, lemme just say that these guys breaking up was one of the biggest mistakes in Christian music history. They had so much potential, one listen to this CD and you'll see why. They Rock!!! This is one of those albums that never gets the "skip this track" treatment; every single song deserves to be on it. There is something for everyone on this CD as you'll get tight sounds and lyrics that speak about being a "seven day (little) jesus." Highly recommended.
