Bio

Ryan leads worship as well as doing artist style shows in different parts of the country but primarily in the mid-south regions, camps, retreats, churches and music venues. Ryan began his worship leading experience with YWAM, traveling through the southeast part of the country with a team and in Uruguay South America, and is currently one of the worship pastors at Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City. He lives solidly, faithfully and happily married in Oklahoma City with his wife for almost 6 years. He has an amazing little boy Blake and is hoping to have some more kiddos soon. "I want to be an incredible husband and father, and that's how I want to show people Jesus."

Ryan has songs on two of the Generation Productions (Charlie Hall's independent production company) compilations Pray e rs and Worship Volume 1 and 2.

Discography

Somewhere Near The Sofa was recorded in a small home in Oklahoma City, in hopes to capture the basic organic feel in which most of the songs were written. The CD is a raw rhythmic acoustic project with hints of electronica mixed in with harmonies and melodic ambient sounds, the overall feel of the project is worshipful but artistic in nature and in production. Simple but nice to listen to. It was produced by Will Hunt (Apt. Core of Rockettown) in his home studio and mastered at West 2nd Recording Studio.

This project hopes to display a clear picture of the journey over a period of time that one will experience when diving into the process of following Jesus with their lives and ideas and passions. The roller coaster of passion is shown through the songs and music in a battle to live the mystery of God and not lose oneself in flesh's confusion. The music is a prayer and the lyrics are a cry.

ryan's debut cd somewhere near the sofa is a welcome addition to an "artist/worshipper" genre that can sometimes start to sound a bit stale. the lyrical content is surprisingly conversational and real, but the album retains it's integrity and focus of God throughout. musically, it's top notch, ryan does a good job of variety and the production is great. if you're looking for something real AND good, somewhere near the sofa is for you.
