Rob Hodge, writer/producer and native of Philadelphia, is unlike any other emcee. His lyrical skills are truly soothing to the ear with straight up lyrics and hot beats. As a child of the 70's, Rob has seen the struggle and crime of the inner city ghetto life in North Philadelphia. His songs are lyrical essays of tales and stories on how he�s seen lives transformed through the grace of God.

Having shared the stage with acts such as Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, The Roots, Wyclef Jean, Wu-Tang Clan, and Tye Tribbett, Rob Hodge is primed to take Born King to the streets and communicate Christ�s love through his musical gifts.

I have listened to Tobymac and other Christian artists quite like Rob Hodge, but I have never heard any kind of music like this before. At first I had never even heard of Rob Hodge before I saw it in a Christian book store. It's really sad how lots of my friends don't believe there is such thing as Christian Rap, but I don't care cause I enjoy it! I hope Rob Hodge comes out with another CD soon!

This is the best gospel rap cd and one of the best rap cd's produced to date. I catch myself rewinding parts of the song to play back. Rob Hodge posses one the most lacking quality in christian rap and that's street credibility. I played this for my non churched boyz around my way the was lovin it. What else can i say but this cd is banannas !

Hands down Album of the year for 2006! A blessed album. I never heard a christian rap album like this ever. Rob Hodge is going to do major things this year. A true blessing and a classic album.

The best Hip Hop CD I ever heard! Born King is a classic album! 27 tracks. I just got my pre-ordder in! It was sold out at first, on back order. When I got this Cd It blew me away! This is The Best Gospel Rap CD EVER!!! Prasie God for Rob Hodge. It's goign to change the whole scene in christan rap! Get this CD. It's a Classic!!

This cd is the best ever! Beatmart Recordings is doing it really big this year. First was Fresh Digress, then came two rock solid releases from both Japhia Life and Pettidee. Rob Hodge's debut album is no different. 'Born King' is off the chain! From what I've heard, the lyrics are very solid throughout the entire project. The message and gospel of Jesus Christ is evident throughout the length of the cd. The well-crafted and produced beats on this alubm are bangin'. This cd is sure to be a classic fo' sho'. There is no doubt that this cd needs to be added to your music collection. Be sure to pick up a copy for yourself and a friend or two!!!
