Review by S. J. Morefield for Rich Mullins 2004-04-07
Rich Mullins has been my favorite christian artist ever since the first time I had heard him. I heard his songs before I read his biography which I cried all the way through. In his songs he had a way of putting into to words what I was feeling and thinking about different things. I wish I had been able to meet him and talk to him, but I didn't find out much about him till after I had learned of his tragic death. This hit me real hard because I felt like I knew him even tho I only knew him through his music. If you have never heard him just listen to one of his CD'S , and the one I suggest is -Songs. It is my favorite one. Rich you are sadley missed, but we will one day sing together in God's heaven.

In addition to the the four great videos from the album, the DVD includes 78 Eatonwood Green as a Main Menu theme song, 52:10 (Isaiah) as closing credits background music, and a considerable portion of Peace at the end. I could be wrong, but I believe the Creed video was ranked 12th or 14th among all Christian music videos during a countdown hosted by Michael W. Smith at the end of the century. Of course, it's number one in my heart. This DVD is not just a bargain. It's a treasure!

Review by Kameron for Rich Mullins 2003-06-14
Rich was just how his closest friends in Christian music described him. He was open, honest and poetic. Just as he said in Damascus Road, he gave his life to sing God's praise. I must be his biggest fan that never knew of him when he was alive and still acquired all of his music after he was gone. When you realize how many others have recorded his songs, he seems like the Bob Dylan of Christian music. He will always be missed and loved.

Rich was not just a great song writer, singer and teacher... he was a great mentor.

Pick an album, any album of Rich Mullin's. Put it into the equipment and listen to it once. You may not have much of a reaction at first because there is SO much! So listen to it a second, then a third, then over and over forever, because each play brings a depth of meaning and a depth of music that I have never seen anywhere else. Rich Mullins was a master extraordinaire of lyrics, an incredible musician, a music-writer on the same level as Mozart, and, as you can tell by his songs, a very humble man who believed that his only worth came from Jesus Christ. Pick an album, any album. You will not be disappointed.

Review by Debra Lyles for Rich Mullins 2002-10-02
Truly another man after God's Own heart. If we could only make those choices that could cause us to walk closer to HIM. Rich seems to have done this, it is so evident in his lyrics. Sing on Rich, Im sure to meet you one day, and we can both sing His praise together.

Review by Mark Almlie for Rich Mullins 2002-07-14
i just finished reading the rich mullin's biography. i cried my way through. i met him after one of his concerts in my hometown of Santa Rosa in 91'. I asked him how he felt about 'hell'. that got him talking a bit--he could sense that i was concerned about the doctrine. in any event, it is a great memory.

there are some must listen songs of his if you've never heard him. Calling out Your Name, Jacob and Two Women, Hold Me Jesus, and We are Not as Strong as We Think We Are would be a good start.

I simply can't express how much my life has been impacted by his life and music. It is a whole different way of experiencing the Christian faith. The line of his from Calling out Your Name has been running through my head the last couple of days--"In the place where morning gathers you can look forever 'til you see what time may never know, what time may never know..."

Review by Daniel Seibert for Rich Mullins 2002-04-02
In all honesty, I believe that Rich Mullins was the greatest song writer I have ever known. I have nine of his albums. He was so honest, so humble, so deep, so loving, so funny, so profound, so real. Listening to Mullins' music has been a major comfort and blessing to me over the years. If you are not familiar with Mullins' you need to do something about that fast. Rich Mullins was an amazing man, and he was so open in his songs that I feel like I knew him. His words have made me laugh, cry, think, pray, and dance for joy a thousand times over. Not only the lyrics, but the music is incredible aswell. Mullins' hammered dulcimer can be heard throughout several of his albums. Sometimes I wish that Rich were still with us, just so he could write more beautiful songs. I can't wait to join him in heaven, and see what new songs of praise he has blessed the Lord Jesus with.
