After being around for over a decade, Project 86 is still going strong. Project is my favorite band of all time and one of the most underrated bands ever, and I love them. Anybody who likes hard rock, metal, alternative, and pretty much any type of rock music will love these guys. P86's frontman and lyricist Andrew Schwab writes the most deep, thought-provoking, meaningful lyrics I've ever heard. His voice is amazing also because he puts so much passion in his vocal performances, and when he sings you know he believes in what he's singing. The guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, & background vocals are awesome. Randy Torres is an amazing guitarist, and his vocals are incredible. Steve Dail is an awesome bassist. P86 is my favorite band because their hearts are in the right place and they make awesome, heavy, intense, and diverse music. They've always made music the way they want to make it, and they don't care about or want the fame and fortune that so many other bands think is so important. The diversity in all 6 albums is incredible. They have all different types of songs, so I never tire of them. Some songs make my eyes fill with tears, other tracks make me wanna headbang and rock out, others make me want to sing along, there's tracks that make me want to dance, others that give me goosebumps, and some that kind of creep me out (in a good way). All of their songs though just plain rock my face off. Overall, P86 is an amazing band that makes awesome heavy hard rock with deep lyrics, and never makes music to appeal to the "mainstream" or to become rich and famous. I hope they continue doing this for a long time. They mean so much to me.

It's a bit past midnight and I'm still sitting up thinking.
For whatever reason I decided to listen to Project again, specifically "The Hand, The Furnace, the Straight Face" from "...And the Rest Will Follow." I read the lyrics, too, this time, while listening. Anyway I can't see what I'm typing through tear-filled eyes. Something about truth always gets me ;)
I highly recommend Project 86 to anyone. If you listen to music for music, you can appreciate them. If you appreciate good lyrics you just might look like me afterwards. Truth is hard to come by, but Schwab knows how to get it to people who want it.
Going to a Project concert in two days, so I need to go back to rockin' out training.
Best of luck to you all wherever you are, and be blessed yo.

Every CD gets better and better. I was able to go to the show for the Drawing Black Lines tour and I can honestly say that Project 86 puts more into their music and performances than any other band I've seen. It was as if they were not just performing their songs from the album but the reality that the songs carry a message and that message came screaming through with outstanding vocals along with the most talented group of musicians to come along in a great while. The fact that the music is not easily catagorized by a genre other than generic hard rock they are so very different than the cookie cutter music you hear to try to float along with "what's cool" and sell records. Project 86 is a group of musicians, lyracists and artist who have perfected their craft. Or so I thought, because the next album was another step up then the latest "And The Rest Will Follow" came out and they just keep making excellent music that matters. Hands down my favorite band.
Review by Andrew for Project 86 : And The Rest Will Follow 2005-09-24
This may well be their finest album, and that is definitely saying something. All the elements that make Project 86 great are combined and taken to new and inventive levels. There is no other band out there like them, and there is no other album that will come out this year that is better than ...and the rest will follow!

THIS CD ROCKS! It will make you think like crazy, go deep within many subjects, and possably change your life. It did with me. Unlike many other CDs, every song on this disk is good, if not great. Awsome solos, blasting songs, AMAZING lyrics, and so much truth you wont know what to do with it all. I HIGHLY recomend this CD to everyone who likes music. and/or a message that speeks to you in so many ways you never thought possible!
Review by Jonny for Project 86 : Songs To Burn Your Bridges By 2004-10-13
'Songs To Burn Your Bridges By' is by far Project 86's biggest and best to date. The sound is dark, heavy and loud and my pick of the tracks is Breakdown in 3/4. The lyrics are definately something that makes you think long and hard about, just like their previous albums. Five Star Rating.
