P.O.D., the multi-platinum, Grammy nominated rock band is back with its most aggressive, poetic effort to date. When Angels & Serpents Dance, produced by Jay Baumgartner (Evanescence, Godsmack), redefines what a hard rock album can be. Beyond critical acclaim, this powerful and imaginative album will most certainly energize fans with unforgettable rock anthems like “Addicted” and “Shine With Me” to the timely and insightful ballad “Tell Me Why.”

When Angels & Serpents Dance is the arrow aimed to strike at the heart of a postmodern MTV generation. Marking the return of guitarist Marcos Curiel, When Angels & Serpents Dance is a refined creativity set to an urgent soundtrack reflecting today’s urgent times.

Review by Kenny for P.O.D. : Testify 2006-01-26
This is the best work they have done. They have surpased satellite by far. The songs are less hard but the lyrics and the music is awesome even if it does not compare to southtowns rawness. This album lets people know where there faith is at as well as bringing in new style lyrics. this is by far the best work they have ever done.

Review by Nick White for P.O.D. : Payable On Death 2004-09-16
P.O.D. is a great Christian heavy metal band! Their newest release isn't as explicitly Christian as the other two discs(Fundamental Elements of Southtown and Satellite), but the guys are still rocking. They're also now on more secular networks than ever, with being on secular radio, MTV and Muchmusic, but they haven't left their faith entirely! They've been criticized as having left their faith, not being Christian anymore, and being like Evanescence(probably because of the album's gothic art. That isn't true however. That's all, and I hope you like the review!

Review by Jose Padilla for P.O.D. : Payable On Death 2003-12-28
P.O.D. is IT! Let me say that when these guys were rocking nobody else was being senciere about their faith at least at the genre that they play. Their sound is more different on this cd. Many of the factors to do with the change was the departure of ex-founding guitarist, Marcos. The guys were looking to change their sound and here we have a more darker sound although they went a little softer on the music they replaced it with more melodic feel to the vocals. This for all those sour people out there, that say that "Christian Music" should not be like this, the matter of the thruth is that no one is daring to make the church controversial like it used to be. We have to rise up for the Revolution. P.O.D. is indeed the most sincere and un your face band that shares stardom with their conterparts without denying their faith! Viva la Revolucion!!!

I didn't really like christian music untill I started listing to wnaz and i heard youth of the nation and I love it i'm only 13 and and most of my friends listen to rap and other secular stuff so i'm glad i finally found something good to listen to ...........THANK U GOD

Review by Josh Sanborn for P.O.D. : Satellite 2003-06-20
The first time I heard P.O.D. I saw it as another secular band, then, when I heard they were christian I made the conclusion that they needed to be more careful to make sure their message is clear, and straight from the book. anyone who is saved, but doesn't know most of gods word may not get the right message, some of the time... "put of the full armor of God, that you may stand against the schemes of the devil"-Ephesians 6:11. In other words, listeners, read the word daily, know it, this way you will know when you are hearing thw wrong message. I do like P.O.D, and I have one of their cd's, just be careful P.O.D. keep it Godly...

Chad Knuth: ya gotta know Salle has got a point. P.O.D. does display some religiously questionable behavior. But I do agree with you; most of P.O.D.'s songs have great message for people that never new the difference between right and wrong. KEEP IT REAL OUT THERE!!!

Review by chad knuth for P.O.D. 2002-09-26
salle, many people that arent christians know that they are a christian band

Review by Salle for P.O.D. 2002-08-30
I feel this group is very talented, but they can easily be mistaken for a secular band. The first time I saw this group I had my doubts as to whether or not they were christian. I'm only a young teen and I even can spot this out, so be honest with yourselves they aren't representing to well are they. Eg. their video 'Alive", it seemed like they were singing more to the girl in the video than God himself. P.O.D, be careful!

Review by Ninjaa Alan for P.O.D. 2002-08-28
P.O.D. is the best Christian band Of all time!!! I think that if you dont have at least one of their cd's that you should get one!!!
