Just received the Deliberate People album and the accompanying journal today - it's awesome! Also I've just begun using the Bible reading schedule and journalling the stand-out verses followed by some thoughts and absolutely feel as though this is going to REVOLUTIONALIZE my Bible Studies and relationship with God. The Deliberate People ministry is FANTASTIC! Especially love the song 'Drown' with the line "Holy Spirit won't you speak, I'll be silent" - well said Mr Joel!

I was down and feeling very alone. I hated feeling the way I did so I sat at the kitchen table and God lead me to read an incredible chapter - Psalm 27. It was what I needed. If God was bringing me to a place away from everyone it was because He wanted me at a place close to Him. Right next to me was Phil's new CD that my husband just ordered. I popped it in the player for the first time. I listened to every word of song 1 and loved it. I listened to every word of song 2 and knew that this song was me on this day...and the scripture noted below the lyrics - Psalm 27. I cried. I closed the booklette, and there, on the cover was his signature - how cool - but even cooler, he had scribbled something right under his name....Psalm 27. God spoke to me through this CD (The Deliberate People), and in the end that's really all that matters.

Phil Joel is so awesome! I love his cd "Bring it On" it's really speaks to me. My favorites have to be "It's all so good", "No longer", just about every song. I recomend this cd for everyone to have. I've always been a Newsboys fan and I have always been fasinated by Phil, he adds energy in the concerts. Not only can he sing but he's a man of God! Who could be a better role model?

I`d like to say that since my first concert with him in there I have fallen in love with the band especially phil. I was standing behind these 2 7foot tall guys and they came on stage and I started jumping and phil looked at me and was moving his head up and down to me jumping behind these huge guys both him and me started to laugh It was the First and the best concert i`ve ever been to! It was grate!

Hey, I just wanted to say I love the song The Man You Want Me To Be, even though I am a girl it goes the same to me. I know that God wants me to do things his way, and things turn out the right way if you just obey him.

I have alot of respect for Phil.He is a wonderful christian music artist.I highly recommend his music to everyone out there.He has used his talent to serve the the Lord in so many ways.I admire you Phil.Thank you for all you do.keep up the good work.

HI, I just wanted to say that I have both of Phil Joel`s cds and I listen to them 24/7. He is such a good artist and his songs really relate to everyday life for believers i think. Not only can he sing and play the bass he is a Godly role model. I there are not too many of them out there and I hate to think of the person who I would look up to if not for him. I am sure they would not be half the person he is.

Just moved to Scottsdale from MN, lost without my church, literally stumbled upon a christian station here called KLOVE. Your song was on "The man you want me to be". WOW! I called this station today and asked them to play it, I had to hear it again!! Your song lightened my heart, and I found a church! I just bought the Bring It On cd and I haven't stopped listening to it all week. I am giving copies to any young guys I think might be wondering what God has planned for their lives and are in the challenging place of offering themselves to Him in submission. Musically, Phil Joel has one of the best voices I've ever heard and he has a way of creating melodies within his lyrics in the most amazing way. I highly recommend this cd. It is solid as an inspirational message and a musical achievement.
