Review by ChrisP for Mute Math : Reset EP 2006-06-26
I had only heard of Mute Math prior to last Saturday 6/24/06. They opened for Switchfoot in Dallas at SixFlags. They are incredible! What a great sound, lots of energy and a great message. I highly recommend anyone to go and see them live, if not, buy the album!

I went to see Mat Kearney in NY and when he finished I was getting ready to take off. Mute Math began to play and I was blown away. They are an amazing band. The music is off the charts and they are so so so good live. They are better than most famous band's live concerts. I bought the EP that night and can't wait until they release the rest of the songs I heard played!

I'm one of those people who don't really like to spend a lot of money on music, then one of my friends showed my this band, and let me just say, i'm going to buy all of the mute math cds. I normaly listen to rock and hard rock before, and it wasn't hard to adjust to this type of band. Some of their songs were alittle slow for me, but overall, they're good. A year ago, i would never think i would be listening to such a band. Many of other band's songs don't have great repeat value, but after dozens of times listening to Mute Math, I haven't gotten bored of even one. I checked their website to see where they're touring, and i found that they're will be playing at the college i live next to. Hard to believe they're a christian band because they're so good.

This CD blew me away. I bought it not knowing what to expect, but when I put it in my CD player, I knew right away that the refreshing tones and lyrics would captivate me from the 1st verse on track # 1, "Control." They have a unique sound that needs recognition and I can't wait for more music from this Artist to be released.
Review by Stefan Konstantopoulos for Mute Math : Reset EP 2004-10-12
It's about time. Wake up, Nashville! The future of Christian music is here! This EP is truly breathtaking. Mute Math will most certainly inspire a slew of carbon-copy acts. This, however, is the real deal. If you are in search of intelligent and creative new music, look no further! This is a band to watch...
