"College students might listen to a lot of indie music, but how often do you a find an artist still in school with a part time music career tellin' it how it is from the viewpoint of the student? With Broken For Good Records artist, Minnow Park, it's rewarding to get past the skillful refreshing guitar work, passionate and youthful vocals, and catchy melodies and discover the heart of a young man discovering himself as well as a sincere love for God, even through trying struggles and hardships. It's as though music was his best friend, and when a new life issue came up, he thought "I'll just go ahead and write a song about this". His lyrics, deep and rich with honesty, are at times mysteriously poetic, and at other times playful yet thought provoking - all with a subtle unique style he is learning to embrace for himself.

Fourteen Days is also full of great performances by longtime musician friends, Jimmy Choi (guitar), Paul Rhee (drums), Eli Menezes (bass), Neah Lee (background vocals), and Dan Cho (cello). And well, I chime in here and there as well playing random stringed instruments. :-) This album also features our first co-written song called "Stride", and it's a dancer for sure, and one of my favorite tracks on the CD. It was an honor to produce this album for one of my best friends and bandmates a guy can ask for! I still wonder if he's really only 20 years old. Imagine what this guy will put out once he gets past his junior year at NYU. Get this album folks, you won't regret it."

Reviews for Minnow Park
Review by Vivian ShibataCar for Minnow Park : Fourteen Days 2004-11-09
This CD is a MUST GET for the Holiday season. If you're in the mood for dancing, crying, running, snapping your fingers, bobbing your head, shaking your tushy and downright praising, then this is the CD you HAVE to get. This dude has got some major talent (as you will hear in his Minterlude and ALL his tracks) and he is one of the best tushy-shaker I have ever encountered. His song "Stride" makes you want to run 7 miles nonstop and "nevertheless" and "how much greater" just makes you want to tear. AHHHH~ I love this CD and I totally recommend it as a Stocking Stuffer, turkey stuffer, Hanukah gift, New Year's eve gift, Martin Luther King Day gift~YOU GET MY POINT!

Review by John Mayes for Minnow Park : Fourteen Days 2004-11-08
This is a wonderful CD. Great blend of acoustic folk/rock/praise. Produced, and recorded by Koo chung this album is a delight to listen to. I'm still hearing small things here and there that add a wonderful spice to the mix. Minnows Guitar playing is superb, and Minnow has really come into his own as an artist. I highly recommend this album.

Book a concert with Minnow Park and you'll get a free dance show, too! He rawks hard, and can do a little jig or two... What a privilege it was to host a concert with him, Koo Chung, and Neah Lee on the Left Coast earlier in 2004! You'll love this CD, no doubt!

Review by Taemin for Minnow Park : Fourteen Days 2004-11-05
I love this CD! The opening track always jumps out and just makes me feel giddy everytime. As I guitarist, I appreciate some of the fresh and creative guitar work Minnow has done here. Vocals are bold and honest. I expect great stuff from Minnow for many years to come.

The BFG crew has done it again with this one. I was one of the lucky people who were at the concert when these cd's first came out and I have loved it ever since. The lyrics are amazing and how can you not love the beautiful Neah Lee on "Since He Came" and the great Koo Chung on "Stride". And if you ever get the chance to see Minnow live...Gooooo! You can't resist his smile and those amazing moves he has. We love ya Minnow!!

A very impressive debut from start to finish by the super-talented Mr. Minnow! What can I say about this album: passionate vocals, honest lyrics, and extremely nifty guitar work (check out the instrumental track, "Minterlude")! I highly recommend picking this up. It's been in my own CD player for a few months and I'm still loving it while discovering new favorites. Sonically, the album shines as well, largely due to the great production by the brilliant Koo Chung (who also lends a guest vocal appearance to "Stride," one of my favorite tracks). Listen to the clips and you won't be disappointed!
