Mary's Den is a band with amazing lyrics. The lyrics are poetic and inspiring to listen to. The hearts of the artists are portrayed through every word. The sound of the CD is top quality. It is an awesome album full of truth.
Review by Robert Neal for Mary's Den 2002-02-27
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with some of the members of Mary's Den and also had the pleasure of sharing their celebration when they committed and completed a quest to break the world record of performance in the Guiness World Book Of Records. This is truly a Gifted group of young musicians who can speak volumes of praise through their song. The varied styles used in their song convey searching, reaching, and humble acceptance in God's gifts. If you truly love to hear songs of praise given in a way that is honest and from the heart, you should treat yourself and listen to one if not all the recordings of Mary's Den.

Review by Erin Breaux for Mary's Den 2002-01-01
I have had the pleasure to listen to and talk with Mary's Den for about a year and a half now. My church, Vineyard Christian Fellowship, in Lafayette, Louisiana did a youth camp (V-Camp)the last two summers. Mary's Den did the honor of leading us in worship a few nights and doing some workshops. I think what makes this album and their last (which you should check out as well on their website!) "Songs from the Living Room" so amazing, is that I know the music comes straight from the heart of worshippers. I have seen them live. And they live for God. It's encouraging to really know integrity of the musicians behind the music. I appreciate these guys very much, and just pray blessings over your lives, personally and as a group. Keep pursuing the lover of your souls...
Review by Matthew DuPriest for Mary's Den 2001-12-01
Marys den is the next best thing to sliced bread, the funky sound and smooth vibe will take you for a spin! The poetics in the lyrics are left to not be commented on, because words cannot do it justice! The music gets you lost in the place you so desire to go to! This is not a cd of entertainment but passion and worship! ----- i would like to add that the short man playing bass is a real cartoon character you might remeber him as mighty mouse! :) love ya micah
Review by David Jackson for Mary's Den 2001-11-30
With deep, passionate rhythms, and raw, human melodies and harmonies, the sophomore album from Mary's Den will grab you, swing you around the room in a musical and melodical frenzy, and lay you down to ponder. This album, this band, these people, leave nothing to chance, little to the imagination and everything to their Maker. There are moments in "In the everyday" when you can close your eyes and see the bright side of Bourbon street. Others when you'll see a ray of light over your reticular image of both what you know you are and need to change. This album, this band, these people have it all - passion, dignity, integrity, joy, experience, intelligence, love, hope, grace, beauty, fear, future, and most of all...my heart. I love you guys, and this album just sparked the flame a new. Keep it up!

mary's den is my favorite band. crispin hates it when i say that but it is the truth. if you are interested in popular bands that just rely on music that conforms to what is expected of them, then mary's den isn't for you. this is the cd for the worshipper. there is such an in depth passion for the lord expressed by all the members. i consider mary's den to be one of my greatest influences in my worship and walk with god.
Review by Daniel Bashta for Mary's Den 2001-11-26
If you want to listen to true authentic music that will inspire you, then Mary's Den is your band. I have been following these guys for years now and the music and the message just keep getting more and more intense. In the Everyday is an incredibly honest recording, that will have you wanting to listen to it over and over. Songs like Who You Are, and the smash Ruined, are just two of the songs on the CD, that will make you wonder why you have not heard of these guys sooner. Their style is unlike any other, and just when you think you may have figured it out, they throw in somthing else, like a personal favorite Funky Jambalaya. If I could recomend any band to anyone Mary's Den would be my first choice, check them out and you won't be disapointed. They ROCK.
