Sixteen year-old Krystal Meyers is not afraid to speak her mind. With songs like "anticonformity," "The Way to Begin" and "My Savior"" Krystal lays down what she thinks is the answer to the incredible pressure facing teens. In the 9th grade, Meyers co-wrote "Anticonformity" while at a youth camp. The song quickly became her personal mission statement.

Krystal explains, "Anticonformity is more than nonconformity. Nonconformity is not doing what the world wants you to do. Anticonformity is actively being something else - in some cases, the exact opposite of what the world is trying to make you."

Krystal attributes her musical influences to bands such as Silverchair, Further Seems Forever, Dashboard Confessionals, Mae and Blindside. On her national debut Krystal teamed up with producer Ian Eskelin and the highly-acclaimed, L.A. based "Wizardz of Oz" production team (Avril Lavigne, Liz Phair).

I look up to krystal because she inspires me to keep pressing on and no matter what's in my way to trust God and keep praying and to not fear what's unknown. I don't have her new cd but i have her first one and love it. I LOVE YOU KRYSTAL and i'll be praying for you.

For fans of Avril Lavigne, here's another singer to satisfiy your tastes. The songs are meanigful and written by her, and her voice is clear like the lead singer of Evancescence and Avril Lavigne. I sent a video of her singing to my best friend, and although she hates christian music, she LOVED Krystal Meyers. Anyone who likes pop, rock, or christian music will love this, as me and my friends did.

I LOVE KRYSTAL MEYERS! she is such a good christian singer. Her music has helped me through so many things. I look up to her because she is a postitive influence on kids lives. Her voicer is so beautiful. I would recommed her to anybody. I bought her cd and have never had regrets.

While she has been compared to Avril, it should be the other way around. I like Avril's music, but Krystal's voice blows her away. She is definately the hottest new artist in Christian Music; with the potential to change lives with her example of "not conforming to the world, but being conformed to the image of Christ". If you love rockin' music and uplifting lyrics then this is a must have cd.

Krystal Meyers is one of my favorite CDs of all time! She shows a lot of maturity in her songs, "The Way to Begin", "Lovely Traces", "Sing for Me", (which she wrote by herself), and others. She continually emphasizes the theme not to be like everyone else--that it's good to be different from everyone else. Plus, I love her music! It's been a while since any good Christian artists were so incredible, and she is--at the young age of 16!! Christian teens everywhere will be loving Krystal Meyers's newest CD!!
