it is really unfortunate for us people living in non english speaking countries and who love the message in keith's songs, we hardly can hear them and i think there is much to learn from his message, i love to teach my children some of his songs that are easy to learn.i ust want to say i listen to keith green's songs when am happy, sad, worried, or even when i just want to spend time with God, and each time i find a new meaning in every one of the songs the lord inspired him. i thank God that his servant Keith still speaks through music and i know we will all be together with jesus in heaven. thank you for sharing this cds, and God bless you.

I was 17 when I became a Christian. It was the early 80's...a friend of a friend invited us over to her house. She was playing a Keith Green record. I didn't realize at the time that Christian music could be cool. As I listened, the words really spoke to me, and in a way that, well, let's just say I will never be the same again. Over the recent years I haven't been as faithful as I should, but...Every time I put the only CD I own of Keith Green's ("The Early Years")in my stereo, it becomes my wake up call. This was the case the other day, I just broke down and bawled my eyes out as I sang to the songs. I just don't cry like that on a regular basis and it had been a long time since I had. I am sure, no I'm positive, that Keith Green was Spirit lead when he wrote his music, why else can his music still inspire people to fall to their knees and seek the Lord.

When i was young, my mother always had the christian radio on, and im sure some of Keiths music was played, but to actually say i remember hearing one particular song is hard to say. When i met my husband in 1996, he had 4 or 5 records of Keith Greens, and sat me down and played every single one for me. My most favorite song by him was and is to this day... MY EYES ARE DRY. I was going through a very DRY spell at that time (if thats what youd want to call it.) I was on my knees weeping for most of the time . Each song brought me closer to God as i felt the spirit flow through the music. There are many great artists out there today, but as far as im concerned, none can compare to Keith...yet(?)

My whole Christian life has been inspired greatly by Keith Green, of all the people on this earth. I spent most of my early Christian life reading more about him and was greatly encouraged by his simplicity, radical faith and passion for Jesus. One notable thing about his songs is that it directs the listener to the worship of Jesus and not about Keith himself. The words of the song are spirit inspired!

I think Keith's beginnings were at the Vineyard Church which started on the beach in Santa Monica Calif. I attended the vineyard for 20 years while in calif. under Bill Dwyer. I never met Keith but knew a lot of people who did know him. He loved the Lord with all his heart. My cassette of this album has long since faded into the sunset. This album is my favorite and I'm glad I can get a cd of it now. Thanks, dick

Excellent choice of songs for this compilation. Would have liked to hear 'To Obey is Better than Sacrifice'with them. Note: Keith was introduced to the writings of Charles Finney and Leonard Ravenhill before much of the compilation was written. Finney's own heart was aflame to arouse the church in his day and Keith keyed into that content successfully, thank God. Keith helped me to dig into Finney's writings. That's the next step. We are all to become Christian activists/prophets and not just content ourselves to have our feelings stirred as Keith would have wanted...as does our Lord Jesus Christ. Keith's music is only the launch pad.

I am presently listening to NO COMPROMISE. Obviously then I am crying. In my life at times when I have been in great doubt I remember Keith, then I remember what's real. Like Bonhoeffer, Keith green was a prophet. NO COMPROMISE is the greatest albumn ever. Bob Hardesty

I live in Mexico and I have listen to Keith Greens music since I was born again. All I can say about his music is that my heart cries out to my Lord and savior everytime I hear those lyrics. I can't wait to see him in heaven and thank him for his work here on earth. Profets do grow up from little boys Keith! bless your heart! Pato

My Dad always played Keith Green's "so you wanna go back to egypt" tape when i was younger. Every long distance car trip involved listening to his tape. I'm so glad someone is making sure its on CD. Our tape wore out long ago from many many times in the tape player. His message is positive and it just makes everyone sing along!

Wow. A friend gave me a Keith Green CD to listen to this week. I placed it in the CD player on the way home from work. I had no idea what kind of music to expect for I didn't even know who Keith Green was. When I first heard it I thought, whoa, this is pretty retro. I had flashbacks of ABBA and Air Supply. Then after hearing the words and the sound of his voice, it wasn't long before I was singing along! There is such a deep message in every song. I could tell, this man was on fire for God. And my spirit is kindled when I hear his songs.
