Josh and I grew up together throughout high school. both his father and i are pastors so we grew up as preacher kid buddies. His dream was to see God use his life to minister in song to the nations. His life, even then, was genuinely real and he loved to simply connect' with people. Today, he does the same through his music and most importantly, even though he's on stage and in every radio daily, he likes to connect with individuals in person to. If you've only listened to his cd, you are truly missing out. Go see him in concert, and plan on meeting the guy. That's what he loves most. woodogyboy!

My daughter and I went to the Casting Crowns Lifesong Tour in Binghamton, NY and were blessed to see AND MEET Josh Bates. Like others I have read in here, it was "Josh who??" when we went and now it is "JOSH BATES IS CUTE and love his hair" (it really isn't a wig no matter what the other bands say). It was a blessing to be able to meet him, get his autograph and just see how down to earth he is. Hope in 20 years when he is still a star we can say we met him on May 5, 2006!!

I have to admit, before last night I barely knew who Josh Bates was. "Perfect Day" comes on our radio here, but I hardly paid it any mind. But last night I had the privilege of seeing Josh in concert, and it was awesome!! He has such a heart for God, and now I really want his cd!! Not only is he a great singer, he's really nice in person too. My best friend and I wanted to get a picture with him during intermission, and not only did he allow us to get a picture with him, he stood around and talked with us for a little while! He really cares about his fans, and I felt like he was truly a genuine guy. I really enjoyed seeing him, and I know we're going to be hearing some great things from him in the coming years!

his music is great. me and my friend went to the Casting Crowns Lifesong Tour here in Mobile and heard him for the first time and we loved him. I love all of the songs but to me Perfect Day is the best!!

Josh Bates is soo fantastic! His music is uplifting and true, his voice is amazing, and his lyrics are so real. This by far the greatest CD I have ever bought!

I got to meet Josh on the LIfesong Tour with Casting Crowns and Building 429. You think his cd is good you should hear him live. His music is truly a blessing and can't wait to see what is to come from his ministry.

My copy of Perfect Day has not been out of my car since the day I bought it. Every morning on the way to school my daughter pushes the #3 which is Josh's CD - her favorites are #5, #2 and #10. We just have to listen to Josh everyday. I sent a copy to my aunt in Louisiana and she called me the first time she listed to it telling me how much she loved it and how she could feel the Lord. He is going to do great things for God.

Josh really knows how to give it all he's got in every song he sings! He could take the plainest song there is & make it sound wonderful! The Lord has really blessed him, and i am proud to have someone like Josh that is making it so big being from right here in the heart of Independence!!
