We just saw Jonny open for MercyMe after the Braves game last Saturday night. I'd never heard of him as far as I know, but I learned that he's the brother of Braves outfielder Matt Diaz. There wasn't a lot of time so he only played 2 songs: "Sarah Jo" and "Hold Me". We bought this cd afterward and he autographed it for us. Hold Me is still my favorite from this disc, but it's all great. Other standouts for me are the title track and the closer "He Would Tell You". The title track has the same sentiment as "If We Are The Body" by Casting Crowns, but it's uniquelly Jonny and it's a great song and a great album. I took my 11 year old daughter to the game and the concert afterward and I'm proud to have her listen to this uplifting music.

Jonny played and led worship for our student ministry ski trip. His music connects with all walks of life and his sincerity in writing are both refreshing and challenging. He left a great mark on us as a songwriter and he also served us off the stage and destroyed the rock star image that follows most people with his talent.

Hey, i am Scott's brother's girlfriend, he was killed on my 17th birthday, coming to see me, and once i got together with Scott and his family, he told me to listen to your cd, especially Until that day, and it was exactly how i was feeling, i was shocked, because it felt like no one could possibly understand what i was going through at that moment, but you did it, you guys are truely amazing and i love your music!

I seldom listen to "Christian" music as I often feel the artists allow the message to become more important than the music. Jonny Diaz does NOT do this. I met him and heard him at Element 3 in Tallahassee and was very impressed by him, his music, his lyrics and his style, and all this in man so young. He should have a great future ahead of him and this latest CD is great. Sarah Jo has become the next song I have to work out on guitar!

Jonny Diaz is incredible. I recently saw him at a church gathering and he just blew me away. He has an amazing attitude and a fabulous voice. He is just a awesome person and a wonderful role model. His music is so comforting in times of need, or just to listen to. Even if you are not christian, you will still enjoy his music because of the catching tunes and melodies. This CD is worth every penny, even more. Thanks Jonny

I just thought i would let you know another testimony to how great and powerful our Savior is. I came across your music via myspace and loved it, i ordered both your cd's from your website and haven't stopped listening to them for the three weeks i have had them. But not until this sunday morning did i understand why God had led me to your music. My 18 year old little brother was killed friday september 22nd in a car accident and after much debate about whether or not to attend the service at my church i prayed and knew i needed to be there and to remain connected with my church family as well. I got in my truck and your cd was in, Yesterday was playing, i just starting crying and then with God's perfect planning Until That Day came on and i had to pull the car over and played it over and over. You sang all the thoughts i have been going thru so beautifully, we are going to play that song with a slideshow at his memorial service on friday. It seems as though you must have been through some sort of similar tragedy in your life, whether you have or not i wanted to let you know that your music has been a great help in the healing process for my family. Jonny Diaz is an amazing artist. God has used his talent to put into words soo many things I've been longing to say. The best thing about Everday God & Shades of White is that the songs are even better live. The talent doesnt falter, his raw voice entices me to "return my heart to the truth that I am loved by You." Buy both of his cds, they changed the way I viewed my "everyday days."

All the songs of Everyday God are excellent. The songs will really touch you - I am trying to get our church to attempt to get him to Alabama for a concert for our youth -any teens questioning their salvation, God's love for them, considering possible past mistakes MUSt listen to Sarah Jo...the words are so true. Jonny is a great artist with a great voice. I have never heard him live nor have I met him, but his parents spoke at a church retreat and if you hear them speak, you will know where he learned to grow in Christ - the Diaz family is really a family with a heart for God. Parents with children need to read his mom, Gwen's books - they are great!

Jonny and the crew came to my church The Cove in NC Summer '05. Words can't explain what you guys brought. Im a new christian and you guys as a follow up from Promise Keepers 15 sets the tone for me. Its a toss up between Shades of White and Everyday God in my vehicle. You pump me up in the mornings and bring me back to reallity in the afternoons. God Bless, Eric

THIS is my favorite CD by far. I've probably listened to it over 25 times and there's not ONE song I don't like! Each piece is totally different, and the musicality of each band member is incredibly mature to be able to pull off a different sound at each attempt. Jonny is a gifted word picture writer. Ryan did an exceptional job with the percussion, Paulo with "git-tar", Stratton with bass, and Labri's sweet, sweet voice. Ahhh...They are the best. :) I know God will honor them because they want it to be MORE than just music...If there's only one CD in your car, it's gotta be this one...
