John Waller knows what a blessing is. He has received a multitude...especially of late. This 35 year old father of three serves as worship pastor at Southlink Church near Colorado Springs, CO., and until recently thought his chances at a record deal were slim to none.

But Waller, who originally wrote the songs on his debut album for his church, caught the attention of Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns, with his powerful lyrical style. Hall helped secure a deal for Waller at Casting Crown's label home Beach Street Records and now sings on Waller's debut radio song The Blessing.

I love "The Blessing". It blesses my spirit everytime I hear it on the radio; I can't wait to afford the cd and listen to it anytime I want. Everytime it comes on it reminds me of how much I want to live my life to the fullest for God and be a blessing to him and others around me. Thank you so much for the song; it made a difference in my life. Stay encouraged and continue to do all God wants you to do. Thanks for allowing me the chance to share my thoughts on this particular song.
