I've been a Superdrag fan since '97. I love their records! John Davis solo record is definitely divinely inspired. I can't see how else he could make this recording. It is pure beauty, honesty, and love. Thanks John!

John Davis' music is annointed with Truth, Mercy, and Christ's Love and it absolutely rocks. His music reflects a life broken but redeemed by the power of our Savior. And his style is (at the risk of sounding cliche) unique. This isn't "Christian music"--it's great rock that glorifies God's ability to change the hearts of people. And if no one else were ever to listen to it, the album would still testify that John Davis is a changed man.

I am a Christian who loves rock and roll. And this is probably my favorite recording of all time. Just to give an example of the music I listen to, I am a fan of the Beatles, the Pixies, the Replacements, Iggy Pop, Ted Nugent, the Beach Boys, Hank Williams Sr.(ok that is country, but he wrote some awesome songs), Tok, the MC5, Superdrag and on and on. I love rock and roll. But this collection of songs has its hooks in me. I listen to this CD over and over. Rockin', bluesy, a little twang of country, catchy, inspirational and unforgettable. I cannot say enough about this CD. These songs were obviously written from the heart. I have seen John in concert three times thus far and whenever he comes within 4 hours of our town of Festus, MO., we get a load of people to trek with us to his live show. So if you are fortunate enough to see him perform live be sure you take the opportunity, and by all means buy the CD. It is habit forming. But a good habit!
