Best known for his singing talent, Texas songwriter Joey Wright has put together an album that not only highlights his voice, but expands his craft as an artist. CLEARLY is the title of Joey's latest recording- and it's the first to feature full- band arrangements of his masterfully crafted pop gems. With his characteristic tenor vocal stylings, CLEARLY takes the listener on a journey from loss and heartache to devotion and redemption. Joey was great as the "guy with a guitar" but if you can catch him with a full-band, that's where the songs really come alive.

Review by Joey Rocks! for Joey Wright : Clearly 2005-06-07
Joey's new CD "Clearly" is so good. I can't take it out of my cd player. I saw him live with his new band- and they totally rock! The cd is very inspirational, fun- and great production. "I Want To Be Yours" is probably the best worship song I've heard in years! Keep it up Joey, and God Bless You!

Joey is such a talented artist that his voice alone will make you a believer! His wonderful style and ability to express his love for Christ makes this CD a "must have".

I don't have to say how wonderful his CD is, because if you have ever heard it or read the reviews before mine, then you already know that it is fantastic. So, Joe...this is for you! I had lots of fun at your show tonight. I always love listening to you sing, no matter if it's live or on my radio. "Pain" and "Broken Wings" are my favorites, but i'm sure you already knew that. So i guess the only thing left to say is WHEN ARE WE GETTING A SECOND CD? Luv ya lots!! Your Favorite Cousin, Becky

I've had Joey Wright's CD "Seasons" for almost a year now and I continue to listen to it. The songs are timely and from the heart. It shows in his music and lyrics. I highly recommend it.

Joey Wright has produced a wonderful CD here! I have heard many first solo cd's and they have not been as good as this one. God has given Joey a wonderful talent of dicipleship through singing and playing music. He has a great desire to serve and follow Christ. I met him a few times when he visited our youth group and it was so much fun to just hang out and chat with him. I have learned somethings from just the few times I have talked with him and listening to his CD. 10+ for your job on this one Joey. Kenton from St. Louis

There is a shortage of musicians with personality these days. For those of us who've seen or heard Joey and his mate Kenny, we are all fortunate. Never will you hear Joey sing any verse begining with "Baby, oh Baby" or any other cliche. Every song on this album has a story. It's more than a CD, it's a life's history, a life's progression, a life's voice.

His live show is just as human, which makes him the best kind of rock star! I highly recommend anything that comes with his name or Kenny "Guy" Robison on it. Now, my only question is when do we get more??

Review by B. Frosch for Joey Wright 2001-05-02
I have followed Joey since his days prior to F.O.M. Joey has always been a talented musician but this new solo CD proves that he has grown tremendously as an artist. His most recognizable song "Pain" has a more polished sound than past recordings and is still my favorite. "For A Season" is a great song that the sample given does not give it enough justice. The chorus will stay in your mind for days. "Broken Wings" further shows Joey's musical ability. Nice change of pace adding a song that features the piano and the song is well written lyrically; not to mention, well performed. The CD is well worth the money and I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed in the quality of music on his debut album.
