this cd is nothing short of amazing. joel and his band were just at my church for a cd release concert. his songs and message are so powerful, there are songs on this cd that can relate to no matter what you are facing in life.

Wow! I heard your song "In the shadow of your cross" on the radio and ran upstairs to purchase the cd! The song was "so anointed" that I couldn't help but stop what I was doing and worship God. I previewed the rest of the songs on the album and I know without a doubt that I will truly be praising God while listening to them! Thanks Joel! Your songs are needed in "such as time as this". Whenever I hear "i bow down" it's very inspriging, gives me the chills, and makes me feel God is with me even when i'm feeling that he isn't. I was just recently at SuperWOW 2004 on Jekyll Island in Savannah, Georgia and Joel was there. He is a amazing singer and his words are soo awesome. He gave an invitation Tuesday, July 6 and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be saved. if he wouldn't have held that invitation there would be no way I would know God as much as I do now and I really wanted to thank him for that and I think the reason he did that was because God knew I wasn't saved and was tugging at Joel's heart so I could know God and know the wonders He does for people, so I thank you Joel for the fun and inspiration you brought us this year at SuperWOW 2004. Last summer (july 14-19-03) i went to falls creek and joel was the singer for the week that i atended the camp with a group of friends and there youth group. My life has changed dramaticly sense that summer.I joined a local youth group and i play the guitar in there praise and worship band. one of my favorite songs to play is Magnify.. and i would like to thank him for showing me the way to the lord through music and prayer

In 1999, I went to a fall retreat in Clara Springs. I can honestly say that Joel influenced my life in a major way! I was 17 at the time, and his genuine love for christ, and the glow that he had made me realize I was really missing something! The Lord was definately there the night I was saved. And now, 4 years later, every time there is an alter call, I remember him. I can't imagine raising my daughter in a non-christian home, and I thank God that he used Joel to help me and many others! Thank you, Joel!

Last weekend at the Cove in North Carolina, I met Joel and his band R81 at the Surrender Conference. Joel was a very powerful speaker and influenced me more than I thought. Just closing my eyes while we were singing made me realize the awesome wonders of God. We received this CD as a free gift and I loved it. I encourage anyone to buy this CD and listen to it and just think about the time that Joel poured into it and the power of God behind it.

I recently purchased Joel Engle's CD "Nothing Left of Me". Having never heard of this man before, I didn't know what it would sound like. It was a very good CD. I love listening to and singing along with his CD.
