Table For Two is the debut album of Jeff Coleman. A long- time songwriter and worship leader, Jeff wanted to record a CD of vertically focused music that could reach both believers and seekers alike. Having worked in strongly evangelistic churches for the past several years, Jeff recognized the need for music that can bridge the gap between folks who have always been in church and those who have never entered its doors. So Jeff teamed up with David Parker, Chris Clayton and the guys from Charlie Hall's band to craft this musical invitation for us to connect with God in the dailyness of life.

Jeff Coleman is a singer/songwriter/worship leader who has, for the past 15 years, used his gifts to serve in the local church. Currently he lives in San Antonio, TX with his wife and children. Over the years, God has stirred in His soul a deep passion for seeing God use the church to reach unbelievers and spur them on to deeper places with God.

"In the midst of a highly consumer-oriented Christian culture looking for '5 steps to a better life' or a church that will 'meet my needs', we've forgotten that our journey in Christ is a relationship. Jesus said, 'I am the way' . . . not a formula, a list of rules, or even a church service. We don't really know what to do with that. We'd rather try to secure God's blessing - which we think is a better, pain-free life now - by doing all the right things or saying certain prayers rather than engaging in relationship and even wrestling with the Lord through dark nights and mystery. Table For Two grew out of a longing for something more in my own soul. And so I wanted to craft an accessible invitation for others to 'dine' with Christ in honest ongoing relationship with Him and to taste the 'healing wine' in Him." -- Jeff Coleman

Excellent CD. Jeff is a charismatic, tight singer, and his love for the Lord really comes through on this CD. His songwriting, singing, and joy for what he does caught my attention and kept me in church long enough to finally get the message after over 30 years of following the wrong path... buy this CD whether you're a seeker or a worshiper!

Review by Jenny Suhs Soldan for Jeff Coleman 2002-12-16
Singer/Songwriter Jeff Coleman's Table for two is a strong release for a debut. The production is tight and clear. The project contains praise and worship with a nice blend of modern rock, and pop. Jeff's vocals are strong and full of passion. The lyrics are not only inviting but powerful. Jeff along with his band seem to have a good chemistry together. The songs flow together with ease throughout the project. Fans of Charlie Hall, and Darrell Evans would welcome this artist with open arms. -Jenny Suhs Soldan Director of National Independent Music for Ultimate Vision Ministries

Review by Reno Peterson for Jeff Coleman 2002-10-18
I have had the great privelege of seeing Jeff Coleman perform and lead the congregation at Bandera Road Community Church in San Antonio, TX and would encourage anyone and everyone who is looking for a great way to feel the awesome power of the Lord to make this album a staple in your music collection. Well deserved attention are track seven, 'I Will Trust in You' and track eight, 'With My Whole Heart'. There is a little something for every musical taste on this album.

Review by Steve Peters for Jeff Coleman 2002-10-17
There are lots of albums in the market competing for your time and resources. Jeff Coleman's first studio release 'Table for Two' is well worth your expenditure of both. 'Table for Two' is an insightful journey into our human dependence on God and His undeserved invitation for us to "come and dine" with Him. From power ballads such as 'Lord of All' to the driving rock of 'Stand in Awe', Jeff incorporates a deep sense of worship and a professed reliance on God as the sustaining force in this life as we look forward to the life to come. Great for individual as well as group worship.
