Table For Two is the debut album of Jeff Coleman. A long- time songwriter and worship leader, Jeff wanted to record a CD of vertically focused music that could reach both believers and seekers alike. Having worked in strongly evangelistic churches for the past several years, Jeff recognized the need for music that can bridge the gap between folks who have always been in church and those who have never entered its doors. So Jeff teamed up with David Parker, Chris Clayton and the guys from Charlie Hall's band to craft this musical invitation for us to connect with God in the dailyness of life. Jeff Coleman is a singer/songwriter/worship leader who has, for the past 15 years, used his gifts to serve in the local church. Currently he lives in San Antonio, TX with his wife and children. Over the years, God has stirred in His soul a deep passion for seeing God use the church to reach unbelievers and spur them on to deeper places with God. "In the midst of a highly consumer-oriented Christian culture looking for '5 steps to a better life' or a church that will 'meet my needs', we've forgotten that our journey in Christ is a relationship. Jesus said, 'I am the way' . . . not a formula, a list of rules, or even a church service. We don't really know what to do with that. We'd rather try to secure God's blessing - which we think is a better, pain-free life now - by doing all the right things or saying certain prayers rather than engaging in relationship and even wrestling with the Lord through dark nights and mystery. Table For Two grew out of a longing for something more in my own soul. And so I wanted to craft an accessible invitation for others to 'dine' with Christ in honest ongoing relationship with Him and to taste the 'healing wine' in Him." -- Jeff Coleman Other customers who purchased Table For Two by Jeff Coleman were also interested in: CD Darkness Falls by Caleb Carruth CD Spoken For by MercyMe CD Untitled EP by Justin McRoberts CD Legendary by Zao | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
