Reviews for Five Iron Frenzy
Review by Matt Jones for Five Iron Frenzy : The End Is Here 2004-06-18
I have been listening to FIF for a while now and it really was sad to see them go. "The End is Here" is, in my view, a perfect "goodbye" to their fans. The album itself is amazing with great new songs and the live addition is just incredible. The intensity they played with on their final tour is unapproachable. Check out the live versions of "Cannonball," "See The Flames Begin To Crawl," pretty much anything else on there as well, but especially "Every New Day." I have never heard it with such passion. Definately check this cd out! If you have already bought "The End is Near" CD, BUY THIS ONE TOO! It is completly worth it.

I am almost crying as I write this. I was just introduced to FIVE IRON FRENZY and thought "hey these guys ROOOOCK!!!" and I wanted to go to one of their concerts but then I found out their end was here and I COULDN'T GO! I couldn't listen to GOOD SAINT SATURN because even though they had FIF members, it still wasn't the same. So if the members of FIF are reading this, PLEASE GO ON ONE MORE TOUR AND GO TO SAN DIEGO BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO GO TO ONE OF YOUR CONCERTS!!!

Review by Eric for Five Iron Frenzy : The End Is Here 2004-04-16
Well, it is sad that "The End is Here," but all good things must come to an end i suppose. FIF puts on one of the greatest concerts of all time every time they go out. What they did musically, spiritually, and in every other respect is leaps and bounds past what ive seen any other band do. I have only heard the minute clips of the live album from TEIH, but I have Proof that the Youth are Revolting (their other live album) and it is awesome. Every song on there surpasses its studio counterpart in energy and excitement. As for the new album on The End is Here -- how awesome! It is an awesome mix of comical, serious and heartfelt lyrics all in a creative mix of musical styles which epitomize Five Iron Frenzy as a band. It is sad that they decided to call it quits, but if they had to leave, they have certainly gone out in a wonderful way.... it makes you wonder what they would have been able to do if they'd stayed together...

Review by BRuce Robidou for Five Iron Frenzy 2003-10-20
FIve Iron Frenzy I cannot think of too many words that can describe their music in a whole. It is all awesome. Everytime I play any other the songs it gets me excited to listen to it and puts me in a good mood. I just saw them in Colleyville,TX. THey went on for a few hours but the time flew by so fast due to their awesome songs continually playing. Their lyrics are so off the wall if is so much fun singing them. I did get a chance to talk to one of the band and ask about the lyrics and they all have a meaning buried in the somewhere. THey are awesome and I wish htye could go on forever.

i am a freshman in college and i have been listening to five iron since 7 th grade. they are the only band that i have continues to listen to since then. they have gotten me into so much other music( christian and ska and punk) and I think they are an awesome band. one of the best ska bands ever. i hate to see them leave us musically but i know there last show is gonna rock the sox off of everybody and i cant wait to get their last cd

Review by Daryll for Five Iron Frenzy : Electric Boogaloo 2003-07-05
So who has gotten the final album yet? I have and do like it!! I must say I really loved Electric Boogaloo and the new album carries on more in that style but also I feel a little bit of the old fun feel. EB was so serious, even if the songs that tried to be funny like Handle This came out a little serious. But definitely, "Wizard Needs Food, Badly" and "At Least I'm Not like all those other old guys" are great. :-) FIF rules forever, because of its funs. Some people don't understand them at all, but those that do (like us!!!) realize how truly great they are. If you love Five Iron, you'll love "This is how the story ends" from the new disc. Incorporates some of the old funny songs and real songs and some Edgar Allan Poe into one last great funny song!! I could keep going but must stop. FIF FOREVER!

Review by Jason for Five Iron Frenzy : Cheeses . . . 2003-07-05
Let me start off by saying I am not a christian, so my views do not come soley on their religious message. I have been into Ska for about 8 years, and of all the bands I've listened to and liked, Five Iron Frenzy is probably the most talented and fun. I've seen them live twice, and hope to see them on their farewell tour in Orlando. Seriously, buy the CD... if only because I said to.

Review by Brandon for Five Iron Frenzy 2003-06-06
I have to agree with everyone, Five Iron Frenzy is one of the greatest bands to ever hit the public stream. I am completely heartbroken that they have decided to call it quits. I know that I will truely miss there uniqueness and individual style.

Review by Ashley Sanders for Five Iron Frenzy : Upbeats & Beatdowns 2003-05-29
I'd have to agree with Bradon up there...All The Hype Money Can Buy is the best CD by FIF! If you have never heard them before, or if you are only interested in buying one of their CD's, this is definitely the album you should buy. You'll love the remix of "It's Not Unusual", and you'll love the "World Without and End"(I'm not sure if that is the actual title). Anyway, if there is anyone out there that is not a FIF freak, you should go eat some dirt or something because life just isn't fun without FIF (and God, of course). peace. Jeff rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review by Danny for Five Iron Frenzy : Quantity Is Job 1 2003-05-28
Well, I think that this cd is one of the best Christian Rock cd's of all time. All of the songs on it are awesome. Even if you don't like Christian Rock, get this cd. That's what I have to sy about it. (It's awesome by the way)
