In 1998, a small independent band caught the attention of Essential Records when its song Big Fish became the highest charting independent artist song in the history of Christian radio. This was a sign of things to come.

Once on Essential Records, FFH released six albums, garnered 17 top five radio hits (seven of which went No. 1), and sold more than one and a half million albums.

Now some of the greatest musical moments of its career to date are captured in Far From Home: The FFH Collection. Packed with signature harmonies and FFH’s upbeat, acoustic-pop sound, fans can stroll down memory lane and experience their favorites all in one place.

Tipping the hat to its independent beginnings, Far From Home was the band’s first name that was later shortened to simply FFH. Knowing most of us are far from our eternal home, the band has always had a strong mission of faith to reach the lost and encourage believers…a mission that continues on through the band and its music.

FFH has truly been an inspiration to my life. They definately light up the world with their music when darkness surrounds us. The words to their music always brings tears to my eyes of how special the Lord is to me and can be to anyone who wants to know Jesus. I definately recommend their music to everyone.

FFH has been my favorite band for only 5 years, but their songs and CDs have impacted my life like no other band can. Their lyrics are inspirational and their music is phenomenal, up lifting, and awesome! I pretty much listen to their music non-stop when I am at home. They're a great band, and I can't wait until their next CD: Still the Cross.

I do like thier music and I just wished that they had more accompaniament tapes or cd's out.Their music is an inspiration and would really like it if they had the song"One of these days" as an accompaniament.I probably would be the first in line to purchase it.
