Jason and Christian McDonald of Even So have been leading worship and discipling young worship leaders since they were married in 2000. As students at Southwest Baptist University, they were thrilled when God opened doors in 2001 for them to serve as worship leaders for the collegiate ministry of Springhill Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. Their first opportunity to record an album came in 2003, when they partnered with Kendall Combes to produce an EP entitled Into the Deep. After the completion of the EP, they soon began work on a full-length record. In March of 2005, they completed Mysterious You, a twelve-song journey through the heart of God. Jason and Christian continue to travel throughout the Midwest leading worship and training worship leaders of the next generation. In July of 2005, they begin serving God in Columbus, Ohio, as they join as staff at newlife-osu, a collegiate church on the campus of Ohio State University.
