While singing background vocals on Passion leader Charlie Hall's sophomore release, Don met the bass player with whom he would form the funk/grunge band Gibraltar. After 2 years in the Oklahoma City club scene, he quit to focus on worship leading and youth ministry. Don has appeared on Charlie Hall's generation productions worship compilations and is now returning to his rock roots with his debut solo release hiding in plain view. "Hiding" is an attempt to combine thoughtful lyrics with melodic rock stylings. Sometimes seen as cryptic, the lyrics paint rather than photograph. Don's preference is "I would rather feel a poetic lyric than understand an uninteresting one".
