I love this CD. I got it at Arsaga's coffee house in Fayetteville where I watched Derek and Holly. I had a great time. I also got to sing w/them a a few times when they led worship at Christ on Campus at UofA. It was a wonderful experience for me. I learned a lot from them and I'm glad to say their music and ministry was and still is a huge positive influence for ConC and for me.

I saw Derek and Holly last week in TN for Know Sweat! Their voices were great and the songs were really awesome! I bought the cd and met them and they were the coolest and sweetest people I have ever met!

Derek is a great guy with a great heart for ministry. Their album is great! He is great for college and singles events! Be sure to book him. I saw him at a college and he was a great lead worshipper

I heard Derek and Holly at Camp Como for a few years and bought the cd, they rock! They're great people and great singers. Derek writes great songs and Holly has a great voice!!

If you have come this far to be reading reviews for the new Derek and Holly Shacklett CD, don't stop there. Click the "Add to cart" button, do the same with "Vagabond Dancing", and just wait for them to arrive. "Fall On Me" is the newest CD, a praise/worship disc that he describes well (who better to describe it?) in the above notes. When I first got this one, I thought it was very good, but "Vagabond Dancing" was still better. However, the more I listen to this CD, the more I realize that it is indeed better then "Dancing", which is quite an accomplishment. And most importantly, you have no questions where he is coming from. His music is completely grounded in Christ, and the worship CD includes outstanding originals and great covers (like "I Could Run Away" from the Waterdeep/100 Portraits project, a fun upbeat "Joyful Joyful" arrangement, and gorgeous harmonious versions of "My Jesus I Love Thee" and "Nothing But The Blood"). Standout tracks on "Vagabond Dancing" include "All I See" (try listening to this one while flying over the Grand Canyon like I did, and the significance is astounding), "If You Believe", and "In My Own Mind". If you are a fan of Bebo Norman, Ed Cash, and/or Stephan Sharp, Derek's music will fit right in with your tastes. And if you like Caedmon's Call (who doesn't?), the harmonies that his wife Holly provides are every bit as good as a Derek and Danielle Webb blend. Check him out, you won't be disappointed. I have been a long time fan of Derek and Holly. To me, this is their best album yet in every aspect. This is the best produced album they have out, this album has the widest "flavor" to it, and the songs each hold a place in my heart as I strive to worship Almighty God. I am indebted to them for giving me more tools to do so with. My prayer is for Derek and Holly to be blessed exponentially in return for the blessings they provide.

I heard Derek and Holly live and then bought Fall On Me immediately. I have bathed myself in this music for days and feel more enthused about my own worship with each play. In several of the songs, Derek taps the strong biblical theme of all creation bursting forth in praise of the creator. The music is rich, bold, and diverse; Holly's harmonies are brightly voiced and liberating. In a common genre, this CD standouts. There is something special going on here and I feel it in my bones.
