In just over a year since their debut release, Day of Fire has accomplished many things most new artists only dream of. They won a Dove award, were nominated for a Grammy, toured in front of over 500,000 in the U.S as well as Europe, and made appearances on CNN and 700 Club. When you ask lead singer Joshua Brown what he’s learned from all this, it’s not about the awards or places they’ve traveled, but the people they’ve met. “I want to show people the love of God in action, loving people for who they are.”

On their sophomore release the band reaches out through song on topics such as addiction, abuse and abandonment and offers hope in the love of God. “This album is about identifying with the pain and insecurity that we all feel as people and finding hope in the love that is far greater than anything we have ever experienced,” says Joshua Brown. “I realize we are all in a desperate and constant need of the love of God.” It’s this passion for connecting with people and encouraging them that sets Day of Fire apart.

I saw DOF in Lowell, MA where they opened for Third Day. I was blown away by the show, music & vocals, as well as Josh's testimony. This band is going to be at the top of Christian music soon. I think they'll also be the first "Christian" band to truly break out of the "the Christian artist bubble" bridge the gap to the secular crowd. Josh Brown's is the "real thing" and will be able to connect to real people in need of a real loving God. Rock on Josh!

I love the first album as it really rocks with passion and attitude. I myself am not religious or spiritual but that does'nt mean I can't enjoy a well written and performed collection of music. ROCK ON!

Before I knew "Day of Fire" I rode on an airport shuttle to a youth conference they were playing at. I had no idea who the band was or what they sounded like, but I knew I wanted the CD because I got to talk with Josh and his incredible heart for God was refreshing and challenging. It's a bonus that their music is so good!!

I was tremendously blessed by "cornerstone." Coming from someone with a hard rock background, this song shows that no one is beyond the reach of the hand of God. This band has a gift, an influence and a sound that will reach millions for Jesus Christ! Keep up the great work!

I had just recently heard of Day of Fire through their song "Cornerstone", then I bought the CD and I just can't get enough. I'm trying to get these guys booked to come and play at my college in April, the testimony that Josh has to give is so powerful and the lyrics that he and Gregg have written are just as powerful. They are by far one of the best Christian rock bands to come on the scene in a long time. I can't wait for the next album!

I bought this CD two months ago and loved it. I listen to it at least once a day. Can't wait until their next album. God bless guys.

I took all of my secular music to the Pawn Shop, Then I picked up this CD at the Christian Bookstore, I played it and Immediately forgot about my old music.

I picked up this disc and was immediately blessed - Rain Song is right on. We have a daughter named Rayne Grace and love the way this song communicates. Awesome lyrics blended with quality musicianship - can't wait to see them in concert!
