Houston-based husband and wife duo Dave and Jess Ray
release their self-titled debut album that captures snapshots of
a life laid bare. Journeying through great hope and redemption
while wrestling with moments of deep questioning and doubt, the
couple’s musical offering speaks with earnest authenticity about
the greatness of our God.
"Our hope for this album is not only that people would see
themselves in our stories, but that they would encounter Truth –
a radical Truth that challenges us to pursue a life staked in
Christ," says Jess Ray.
Produced by Scott Williamson (Lincoln Brewster, FFH, Michael
O’Brien, BDA, Steve Garrett), the album showcases 11 tracks, all
penned by Dave Ray. From the gritty rock of "One" to the
sweeping melodies of "Face of God", listeners are offered
vertically focused anthems as well as transparent, introspective
ballads.
