Darrell Smith has served in the worship ministry for the New Heights Community at Alamo Heights Methodist Church in San Antonio since 1999. With his debut album, from puddle to pool, he has thrown his hat into the ring as an independent recording artist. Featuring 12 original songs produced by Ross King, from puddle to pool covers a broad spectrum of rock and folk music.

I think Darrell's new Cd is amazing! I find myself waking up every morning singing one of the songs. Darrell's music voices some of the things I experience in my walk with God...and it is nice to be able to work through it using his music. And the things that sparked his writing of the songs, which is included on the CD cover, really reveal alot about him pesonally, which is important to me as a believer. And his background vocals (Caleb, Ross, Staci, etc.) and accompaniment are amazing!!
