I just got this CD at the Passion 06 conference. It's great! My favorite track is number 6, All We Need. The other tracks are awesome as well. Only thing is, I got to hear a few of them live first, and with worship, live is best.

I first heard Charlie Hall on the Passion cds, and as worship co-ordinator in my church in the UK i wanted different yet enveloping worship songs to play in our church, different to the tim hughes and matt redman material that is so common here. Porch And Alter is the first of Charlie's albums which I bought, and the Lead Musician and I were blown away by the rawness and intimacy of the album. I would reccomend any album by Charlie Hall

I just got back from Collegiate Week in Glorieta, New Mexico, where Charlie Hall was leading worship. I have never been that close to God or been able to worship with that much passion before. Charlie Hall knows what he's doing when it comes to leading worship, and he is also a great speaker in general. Salvation is by far the best worship song I have ever heard, and I will be at Lifeway on August 19th to pick up "On The Road To Beautiful." If you ever get the chance to see Charlie Hall live please don't pass it up.

Freedom Song by Charlie Hall, is a song that has helped me a lot spiritually. I just wanted to get down on me knees and pray the first time I sang it. It's a song that goes straight into your heart. I've never heard any of Charlie's other songs, but I'm sure they're just as good. Freedom song will always be one of my favorite songs out of all the millions of songs out there today.

King of Glory is a truly amazing song. Charlie is an honest worshiper whose music is not pretensious or over-done. If Charlie is playing in your area, you should make it out to hear him live. He is one of America's best P&W leaders. This album is a sample of his heart for the American Church.

I also was introduced to CHARLIE HALL and his music ministry at Student Life 2000...NO matter your age, his message and music are in your face and real. He had a concert tonight and I would love to know two things---1)what Puritan poetry book was he reading from? 2) what title song talks about on the road to beautiful?....CHARLIE HALL AND BAND were awesome and a great vessel of God.

When I was in the world, I would listen to worldly music. When I came back to the Lord, I found some of the christian music reminded me of that same music and would even bring back memories and past times that I had ask forgiveness for from the Lord. Which the enemy used that to torment my mind with those unholy thoughts and memories. I am not saying they are bad because I do find them enjoyable. I just find I can keep my mind more holy and more focused on the Lord when I am worshiping Him and praising Him. And I find that Charlie Hall's worship and praise music helps me to live the word...And I need all the help I can get. Charlie Hall's music helps me to.... "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalthe itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" ll Corinthians 10:5 My natural man was very spoiled and very determined to live the old way and keep old habits. And my spirit man is going to win because of Him. And because of what He makes me. We all have a different way of bringing the flesh into obedience to the Lord, this is the best way for me. Thank you Charlie for yeilding to our Lord and King and to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. If I could only carry a tune, I am sure I would be praising Him publicly as you do.

Charlie Hall is one of the most humble guys you will ever meet... Christ is doing amazing things through him.. all of his CD's are a must get .. including all of the passion cd's...
