Produced by Don Chaffer of Waterdeep, Clouds Are Forming is Brad Kilman’s first full-length record. Brad hopes that God will draw near and reveal His intimate presence to you as you listen to and sing these songs. The record was made tracking a live band in Don Chaffer’s basement in Kansas City, recording a small group of spontaneous worship in Josh Banner’s house in OKC, and capturing live worship from the congregation at Bridgeway Church where Brad serves on a team of worship pastors with the likes of Charlie Hall, Don Paul Shreffler, Ryan Walker and Joel Limpic.

Brad’s song “We Are Hungry” has been recorded by many other artists and appears on The Road to One Day by Passion, Window to the Inner Court by Shane Everett, Over Under Everything by Circadian Rhythm, and Open the Eyes of My Heart Vol 2 by Vertical Music to name a few.

From Don Chaffer:
“As to Brad, I really enjoyed him during this process. He tends to navigate the structure and dynamics of a song according to his sense of God’s Spirit at the time. It’s a warm experience being around him during worship. He reminds me of the church’s ongoing dialogue with God. He reminds me that- though we stomp and shout, longing for more from God; though we keen with sadness, yearning for reconciliation; and though we clap and yell, overflowing with gratitude- through it all, God is there, listening and responding to us. And His presence is, of course, our greatest joy and our deepest consolation. And I hope this record conveys God’s side of things too, that these songs aren’t only people making music, but that occasionally- in the windswept guitars, the violent bursts of cymbals and drums, the wash of hundreds of people singing together- You can hear whispers of the Almighty talking back- or, better yet singing back- to us and that He’s inviting us to join Him.”

Review by Rusty Graves for Brad Kilman : Clouds Are Forming 2006-03-22
Brad's music has invaded our youth ministry out here in central California. It's a rare moment in the life of the Church when one person compiles such an amazing collection of music for worship at one time. Brad's music will bless you and deepen your times of both personal & corporate worship.

Review by Melinda Close for Brad Kilman : Clouds Are Forming 2005-08-09
This is the MOST beautiful worship music and lyrics I have heard in such a long time! It truly captures my heart and brings me into the presence of my Most High Master, God the Father. I know that Jesus is right here with me, and that the Holy Spirit sweeps me away in His awesome, unconditional love! Again, it is the most awesome worship! Thank you, for pouring yourself into making it as such!

Awesome. Track 10 is awesome. Don Chaffer did a great job. Brad Kilman might have the best voice in this genre. His style is so moving. I love the length of the songs as well. Great job

Review by Robert Carroll for Brad Kilman : Clouds Are Forming 2005-05-09
I bought this cd recently and was well rewarded. If you read these, Good job! I really enjoy the way each song you wrote is just right for diving into God's presence and paving the way for an intimate time of free worship. I admit, I bought this cd because I saw Don Chaffer as the producer. And you can tell that he had his hands on this album but the heart that comes out in Brad's lyrics is pure and speaks from maturity. Keep it up, I will be looking forward to future cd's. : )
