Up-and-coming worship band Before the Throne has been busy completing their debut all-original album, Your Kingdom Come, all the while continuing their ministry strongly rooted in Austin, TX. Since the band's inception in 2002 as a college ministry, they have broken onto the scene of indie Christian music and have made an authentic and prophetic call to holiness their mission.

Inspired and influenced by the likes of David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Jeff Deyo, Ross King, and more, Before the Throne challenges and exceeds the expectations of a worship band. With a range of dynamic songs in youthful, upbeat, contemplative, and urgent demeanors, the band's passionate lyrics are steeped in both Christian Tradition and Scripture and reflect on the journey of life in Christ.

The hopeful messages in their original songs celebrate the joys and confront the hardships of life and encourage all people to seriously consider their role as servants of the Gospel.

I really like this CD. There is so much variety in the types of music represented. I really appreciate the songs that are word-for-word from the Psalms--you can't beat 3,000 years of tradition! "Here Am I" in particular. Two of my other favorites are "Be Enthroned" and "Where You Lead." Great stuff!
