listening to the radio, i often hear bebo norman playing (rich mullens song, great light of the world). but this time was different-- i will lift my eyes compelled me to run to the nearest store and get me a cd. wow! i cranked my stereo up in the car and felt like my soul was being wrenched out of my body, my stomach was churning and was in tears. "i will lift my eyes" and "my eyes have seen HOLY" are the most powerful songs in this cd. they talk about the constant struggles of being a christian -- being in this world but not of it, confessing your sins to the Lord and never forgetting that He is the one you can always run to and hold you. bebo is such an amazing talent and the Lord has REALLY REALLY BLESSED him. keep it up, man! may the Holy Spirit continually bless you and guide you and eternally be your muse ;-)

My copy of this masterpiece arrived in my postbox yesterday and has occupied my CD player since. Bebo has come of age!. I have all his albums and was always deeply moved by his deep yearning songs, songs that engaged the listener on a deep level as they spoke of the raw struggle that encompasses the lives of many of us as we follow the path of the ancients. I was almost annoyed when he got married and cheered up! But seriously though, this album is still very much Bebo, with passion in ever strum of his guitar, but with a focus that is no longer on how he is coping with life, but on who God is and how Bebo engages with God. Tracks 1, 7 and 8 are my favourites and i hope this CD sells millions - it deserves it. Bebo ol' boy, you've done it again.

I fell in love w/ Bebo's style just hearing a few songs on the radio. Then last fall I saw him in Fargo in concert and I could've listened all night. So down-to-earth with a real story of personal struggle and growth, which we all need to hear that "famous" people have too. LOVE his voice and the instrumentals too...

bebo's songs on this cd are awesome and i was really ministered to by them. he has and great voice and the lyrics are all amazing.

It's been almost two years since the release date of Bebo's last cd "Myself When I Am Real" until the recent release of his latest cd "Try"...Well,I will testify that it was well worth the wait!..This is Bebo like you've never heard him before...A young man who has obviously prayed for and received more love,joy,peace,spritual maturity, understanding,passion for and appreciation of Christ than ever before!..And it is very evident on this musical masterpiece...He has also found positive inspiration in the form of the new woman in his life_his wife...And that too is also evident...He has gone way beyond even what I expected...And I have loved,purchased and constantly listened to his last three cd's over the past four years so I have heard the growth,change and natural progression that has taken place in the enormously gifted singer/songwriter musician...He has gone beyond taking his artistry up a notch or to the next level.. The sensitive troubador has shot through the roof on this one!..He has taken his music beyond rocking for Christ and sweet and lovely poetry/songs to high quality drama... Performance art at it's best!..Each song is a play or movie soundtrack in itself!...Two of my favorites are the outstandng,dramatic, uplifting,spirit cleansing,beautifully, written and passionately sung "Soldier"...I had tears rolling down my cheeks the first few times that I heard this song...Bebo's voice is masterfully controlled and surprisingly powerful..He just soars on this cut...One of the best songs of all time!... "Disapear" is another wonderfuly written and sung song that is and will be one of the most infectiously uplifting,pop-rock songs for years to come...Believe that!...Talk about "Ten Thousand Days"...I would need ten thousand words to fully describe the other ten excellent songs on this cd...The production values are the absolute best..The soulful,supple,passionately intense,and yet soothing vocals,the flowing,poetic,simply written,thought provoking,spirit lifting words,the addition of beautifully and gorgeously played acoustic instruments mixed with cutting edge alternative rock-pop_baby, baby_with a little twist of folk and country makes this Bebo's finest musical offering to date and one of the finest music collections (in my opinion) ever in any genre..To put it simply Bebo continues to rock big time for Christ..He is deeper still though in thought,bolder in his declarations and his feelings about the savior of the world, stronger in voice and simply flying without wings!..***The precious jewel like songs on this treasure chest of a cd will bless your mind,spirit and heart for years to come..I know because it has blessed mine for sure!

This album is awesome! I am a good friend of Bebo's and have been able to hear some of it during the recording process. You won't be disappointed.

Just saw Bebo live last nite. Tremendous singer/songwriter who has weathered the storm of 8 years on the road very well. See him soon folks he is ready for a break! Well deserved and time to build a life where the trees stand still. Thanks Bebo it was great!

Bebo is awesome! Great songs and testimony! Went to a concert at my small christian college and loved how personal he was.

when u think of bebo normans music what can u say but.... wow. it's AMAZING!!! the best part is, u cant miss the message of GOD in any of his cds. I LOVE Big Blue Sky, and Myself When I Am Real. He only gets better with time.
