Released November 13, 2006. Antioch’s new album, Unshaken, maintains their strong reputation of songs with catchy hooks and melodic harmonies. But musically, the songs fuse rock n' roll, acoustic, worship and contemporary vibes to create a very fresh and very unique sound. The record combines a variety of instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, bass, cajon, piano, B3 organ and violin. Rock anthems such as "Until You Bless Me" and "The Good Fight" grab your attention immediately with their driving rhythms while ballads such as "Unshaken", "Moving On", "You Are My King", and “Welcome Home Jesus” hit home by urging you to invite Christ into your life in a real and life- changing way. Lyrically, the album shows a great maturity in writing style by combining spiritual doctrines with everyday life. The words tell a message of hope and comfort in the middle of this sinful world. "When we started writing the lyrics for this album, we felt like we needed to transform the messages of Scripture into stories and situations that everyone would be able to understand and relate to", says singer/guitarist Aaron Hall. "A lot of times people turn away from God and the church simply because they feel the Bible is no longer relevant to them. They feel that God is no longer the miracle-performing hero of the Bible. We wanted to show them how misinformed they are and how easy it is to start a deep, personal friendship with Christ." Antioch is a 3-piece band made up of members Aaron Hall (vocals/guitar), Nathan Hall (bass/vocals) and Kevin Burton (percussion). Unshaken was engineered and mixed by David Parker (Chris Tomlin, Shane and Shane, Big Daddy Weave). It was mastered by Bob Boyd (Chris Tomlin, Caedmon’s Call, Shane and Shane, Bebo Norman).
