This is a truely wonderful Band! This is not your run of the mill Christian music. These songs are about real life, void of tired christian phrases. Their sound is unique and rootsy, yet familiar, like you have been searching for this sound for a long time but it has gotten lost under all your stuff.

Alathea is GREAT! I first heard of them when my violin teacher started playing some backup for them one summer. You couldn't ask for more down to earth music. Buy this CD NOW! haha

i got hooked on alathea when i went to a conference in TN and Michael W. Smith invited all of us to a rockettown concert. alathea carries a beautiful sound, combining some bluegrass elements with just plain 'ol mountain/folk music. their lyrics are incredible and show their love for the Lord and their desire to glorify Him. I highly recommend this album.

I'm the kind of shopper than the capitalistic United States thrives on. I was in my local Christian bookstore, and they had set up a little listening station with this album. I listened to the first song, and was hooked. I immediately bought it and have been continuously ever since. :) I highly recommend this CD to anyone.
