Released 2002 Young, and young at heart, but exploding out of Texas and onto the national Christian music scene comes this seventeen year-old from Austin. With unexpected maturity, warmth and character to her voice, Addison delivers a heart-felt message about her faith. Born in Berkeley, California, Addison has spent most of her life in Austin. She’s driven to succeed in school; a 4.0 student and eyeing the genuineness of TCU (Texas Christian University) as her college residence next year. Her success in music is measured by her love for choral singing in addition to contemporary Christian music scoring in the top 0.3% of the UIL solo competition that elevated her voice above 75,000 other contestants. Asking the Lord into her life when she was eleven, Addison was then already writing songs with her father. Jesus Calls is the first song they wrote together and it appears on this CD. The popular track Mercy Home can be heard in Austin on KNLE FM 88.1. Their latest collaboration debuted at the National Day of Prayer event in Austin this year. In front of over 1,000 fellow believers, the Governor, and Max Lucado, Addison sang One Nation Under God, Again and blessed us with a song we just might be hearing for years to come (will be released on her next CD, preview on her website).
